I'm using this 10 button gamepad with final fantasy on it. The game recognizes left and right on the left analog, but doesnt recognize up and down! How frustrating. D:

Anyone have translations for the gamepad configure steps in the game menu?

I use MotioninJoy for gamepads. It's software that makes using a gamepad a lot easier.

May I ask what controller you are using?

If you are using a 360 controller, you can just plug it in.

Mine seemed to work perfectly.

motionjoy is the best choice for anyone with a ps3 pad. If you boot it up with xbox 360 drivers the games controls are already mapped. Just make sure you do it before starting the game. :)

Wired 360 controller works just fine for me. Had it already plugged up when I first launched the game and it worked from the get go for Toon creation and game play.
