View Full Version : PSO2 crashing (possibly due to PSE effect?)

So whenever I go into the multi-party area during quests, for a while I'll be fighting monsters and everything will be fine

But then eventually I'll kill one, and a girl will pop up on the side saying something, and the screen will get really bright (maybe from the PSE effect?)

Then the game starts lagging horrendously (freezing for a good 5+ seconds at a time) until it becomes completely unresponsive, at which point this blue screen with white text comes up saying that it tried to fix the graphics thing (and failed), so it has to restart.

I tried updating my graphics driver and lowering the graphics settings on PSO2, but that didn't fix it.

Here's some more information that might be useful:
OS: Windows 7
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU M 370 @ 2.40 GHz
Installed Memory: 4.00 GB (3.67 usable)
Graphics Driver: Intel(R) HD Graphics

Intel(R) HD Graphics...

Hard to diagnose anything when you don't have a graphics card and just using a chipset. :|

Oh, so it isn't actually a graphics card? (I'm not so good with computers)
I guess maybe that could cause a problem.

Yeah, it's not a graphics card really, it's just a chipset to try to make up for the fact that you don't have one.

I'm surprised you can run the game at all, but you can try updating your drivers to fix it... *shrug*
