EDIT: Never mind, I ostensibly cleared it up!
For those Googling for this error, it either has to do with your firewall settings/Windows Defender/Avast settings. Turn off these or make an exception for PSO2.
If you continue to get error 434, reset your computer or install new updates for Windows just to make sure. If you're using a wireless connection and your connection drops during patching, try patching via ethernet cable. Hope this helps!
