Messed up my controller

Wondering if anyone knows how to fix this..

So iv been using my controller (360) and its been fine.. but then i decided to go ahead and mess with the control settings..
I didn't like how I set it up so I looked up a translation and found how to reset the controls back to default which worked fine.. except for one thing
When I hit the left bumper to lock on it works fine... but when I hit it again to disengage the target it just tries to switch targets without actually letting go.

Anybody know if there's a setting I messed up somewhere that I'm missing?

You might have changed the lock-on function.

I can't remember on top of my head where it was, but there is an option to change how you want lock-on to behave.
