stuck on file check

When I try to start the game it appears to be stuck on checking files, is it supposed to go this slow or is it just me?


It's stuck right here and has been for a while now

Seems like you have the closed beta version of PSO2, its a big patch you have to download now (2.8GB of data) so give it time to patch.

ah ok so it's not actually checking files but downloading many GB of information?

Yep, it takes a while to download and install everything, but give it some hours if you're on a decent connection, did you play in open beta?

No I didn't i just found out about this game today, it's almost already downloaded anyway

It makes sense because I figured the 2GB setup.exe seemed way too small for a full game

It's just I didn't realize the file check thing was also downloading stuff, I thought it was just going really slow
