Hey guys~! Just wanted to let you PSOW folks know that myself (aka Taryn; known as "Alena Zouryx" of the long-running PSO guild The Zouryx Empire), MogKnight (of The Mog Blog) and Frei Casull (co-host of Sequence Break XIV, a Final Fantasy XIV podcast) have joined up in a roundtable discussion of Phantasy Star Online 2 news, previews, tips, and all the random tangents that these types of podcasts seem to throw into themselves.

Yes, we're aware that there's another PSO2 podcast out there... but who's to say there has to be just one? PSO2 is simply that awesome, after all. It deserves many, many podcasts. Ohhh ho ho ho~

We'd love to hear some feedback, comments (even the negative ones, yup...) and any questions you'd like us to answer in future episodes.

Hope you all enjoy PSE Burstcast! (http://pseburstcast.tumblr.com/) ^^

* Episode 1 - "The Mag-nificent Taryn!" (7-30-2012) (http://pseburstcast.tumblr.com/post/28485996453/pse-burstcast-episode-1-the-mag-nificent-taryn) NEW!!
JP PSO2 August 1st and 8th updates, Mog feels insecure about his new found life as a Dragoncast, and Taryn knows EVERYTHING about Mags!

* Episode 0 - "Pilot" (7-16-2012) (http://pseburstcast.tumblr.com/post/28486351975/pse-burstcast-episode-0-pilot-the-first-test)
The pilot PSEB episode where Mog, Frei, and Taryn somehow met up through Craigslist (... not really) and decided to make a Phantasy Star Online 2 Podcast...

In the actual podcasts. Try to flow things a bit better. Of course you'll have to say. Moving on to X or Y but leave it at that much.

Like talking about bikinis blabla
instead of, next lets talk about Yukatas"
how about, "and then there are the Yukatas which just came out...."

Stuff like that, its hard to think it on the fly but try to keep it in mind. You're doing a conversational bit.

also. Puffing and buffing when you talk seems to be an issue a bit. Gotta be careful about doing those type of words.

If pop screens aren't an option for your mics, another great option is a thin wash cloth in front of the mic instead. Should still let all the sound travel through without all the "b" and "p" air sounds getting into the recording.

Yeah, a lot of the former could be attributed to nerves. It took poor Mog four or five takes before he was satisfied with his introduction. I'm sure we'll all get better regarding the general "flow" the more we do this. :3

Yeah, I had no idea that that was even an issue (dunno about them, but for me, at least). No one's ever commented about it on the other end, so I didn't think it was a problem. x_x

That's actually a great tip. Thank you! :D

I found it very entertaining. Only thing is I thought it dragged on a little bit too long. But! I understand it was the pilot episode, and ergo, you all probably needed a bit more time due to introductions and getting everything panned out the way you wanted it.

I'll keep listening, for sure.
