Error 650/651 help

Ok so a friend of mine is having trouble logging into their account suddenly today and is getting the error 650/651. We know that it's the error for needing an authentication but the problem is they've checked their email and the spam folder but no luck finding the 8-digit code.

Tried the whole resend authentication email but still no luck. What I'm wondering is if their(sega) servers are busy and the email is just taking it's sweet time.

A couple of people have the same problem. You'll just have to be patient and wait for now.

Should probably add that I logged into my friends account a couple weeks ago just fine without and prompt for any authentication. Wondering why it's just asking now

same problem here i install a new version of the game at the moment i hope it will work and only a data is corruptet to send the email link

I'm thinking this might have been some bug they overlooked when they did this patch. Reading more and more about people suddenly getting asked to authenticate
