Pipe trick for hildetorr

THis is the first time ive had the patience to pipe trick for a rare monster but Im desperate for a frozen shooter. Ive piped back and forth from the room in Forest of Sorrow with four hildelts at least 200 times and havent seen a single hildetorr. Am I doing something worng? It doesnt matter if I've damaged the enemies at all does it? Im about to give up but I don't want to lose what "progress" Ive made so far. Any help or advice would be great. Thanks!

Piping for a Hildetorr's requires MASSIVE patience. They're not like your Pal Rappy, Mil Lilly, or Pouilly Slimes. I've piped for two straight hours for my FROZEN SHOOTER back then, but to no avail. I've tried it again for 1 1/2 hrs a couple of weeks ago, and nothing. I piped for another 1 1/2 hrs last week, and nada. I just gave up on it. Then, a Hildetorr showed up during my normal run on Forest, but it dropped crap. Another one showed up on another normal run the next day, and this time, it dropped my FROZEN SHOOTER.

That'is very lucky, the first hildetorr i came upon hit me and felled me in one stinkin' hit...Darn!!!

You're doing nothing wrong, they just show up randomly. And unfortunately Hildetorrs tend to be one of the more elusive rare enemies, especially considering there's so few of them grouped together. If you need to take a break do so and try again later. And hitting the Hildelts doesn't matter as long as you didn't kill them (of course).

BWHAHAHAAHa, i can pipe for the whole day and never get bored. WHA?!?!?!?!?!?!? HOw you ask??????? I have a television that can split into two visions AHAHAHAHA!!!!!. I'll be piping in one and watching a trigun marathon from my dvds in another one bwahahahawhahhahah!!!!!!

the way i realized the concept of Rares and Rare enemies is this..
it doesnt matter how many runs or telepipes u do in a row, i think its more of a beat thing

I remember one time i did about 10 runs on forest in vh and got nothing but a couple of hours later, when the beat was different, i found several rares in only 2 runs

so my advice is not to telepipe a million times in a row, rather try 20-30 times in a row, then wait an hour or 2 and try agian,

u mite get much better results

actually, i havent done any piping yet, just am going to once i get my ramarl onto ultimate for mi frozen shooter.

When I piped to get my Frozen shooter the first night I saw 2 hildetorr in the first hour, one at about 15 mintues and second at about 45 minutes. Then I didn't see another for over an hour. Then I saw two more within an hour about 20 or so minutes apart. I didn't get it that night so I came back the next morning. The first one I saw dropped it after about 15 minutes of piping.
