PSO Musical Influences?

Forgive me if this is appropriate for this forum, but I stumbled upon this the other day, and its made me curious about finding music that directly influenced PSO's soundtrack.

Its so eerily similar to Ruins\Caves that I don't see how it COULDN'T have been an influence for PSO.

There are several ways this could not have been an influence for PSO; the most obvious one being the possibility that the creators of PSO's music never heard this song. :wacko:
I'm sure that's not the point though, and the beginning of this track does sound similar to the Ruins background music. Nice find.
