I am with you both, i worked hard on my character's figure trying to make her realistic (hips still too big with too narrow a waist, but i think that's a broken mechanic in the game now) and i think that will go against me, and i didn't do flashy hair or streamers, hats, and other fancy accessories+^_^+ i have my fingers crossed nonetheless, after all!! what have we to lose??? +^_^+

To our host Tene: major props for hosting--not one, but two! of these events. I'm really looking forward to seeing some of his future events (and maybe helping out)~

To our finalists: all I can say is, you guys REALLY deserve the recognition for your awesomeness. You guys took a simple idea of showing off your character in just utterly impressive ways~ Not to sound like a Drama Llama, but some of the entries actually made my jaw drop. Not from just the physical appearance of the character, but the uses of dynamic camera angles, scenery, lighting, and many other elements that were just so... ofhwaohdiovjdfohvAWESOME.

To those who don't make it to the Top 10: Don't be discouraged! There was only a very very very VERY small percentage of entries that were bad [too zoomed out so couldn't see anything, low quality, etc.]. The reason why it took us so long to vote was because every entry was simply too unique to ignore. Like seriously, ALL of you brought something awesome and different to the table. All of you were great and I really hope that we get to do more events like this so the community gets to see more creativity from you guys~

And to our community voters: good fucking luck.

Actually, a lot of the entries were very well-done. I feel sad that only three of the lovely ladies will place.

It was all together 7 judges with different opinions and different things they like.
So it's impossible to be cut cause of personal bias.

Even if 1 judge gives you 0 points (which didnt happen) you could get into top 10

We'll see I guess, I agree with the whole bias thing, you can't really say that the judges are not bias in anyway and all have different opinions, some judges will like certain aspects based on their personal preferences, or as already said by others there are just some people on here that are disliked by some and I'm sure those people had an even less chance of making it to the top 10, pulling people from outside of the game/forums to judge would probably have been the best way to go about it. No matter what some bias will be involved in it, how much of it is the question. It's human nature to be biased, nothing really against any of the judges but it's completely unrealistic to say that this contest will be 100% fair. I'm certain I didn't make it since I haven't seen a private message but maybe only some of the finalist have been pm'd so far.

Well, if it makes you guys feel any better, when Tene sent us the pictures and the voting chart, every entry was just given a number. No names mentioned. So really, only Tene know who's picture belong to who. I think I only recognized Ce'Nedra's and Zyrusticae's pictures, but even then, I don't know them on a personal level. c: I just see them around the forums often.

I feel like I judged fairly. I mean, if I didn't, Tene would have nuked my votes and found someone better [at least I hope he would have].

That's why I took off my signature, but I'm sure my character was easily recognizable based on that since my signature was up for a while. ^^ totally this, MissMalice was mad i didn't use a siggy she made me awhile back, even though i said i was gonna (and will) rotate between them (glad i saved her's when i did, the link to MissMalice's photobucket went rotten) and if Big Olaf is a judge, i understand him not voting for me either, kinda got into an argument with him about Nassandra's big blue you know whats (for which i am sorry, i had a bad day that day) not too long after official launch, and I'm sure at least 2 more of them don't like blussies *+^_^+* much+^_^+

I'm having a bit of faith that the actual voting thread won't be filled with complaining, flaming, or other forms of vitriol. We won't be putting up with any of that, if it comes to it.

Voicing opinions will obviously be fine, but keep them clean, and think before you post something that could potentially be hurtful towards someone else. People can have their views, but please have them with respect.

^^ totally this, MissMalice was mad i didn't use a siggy she made me awhile back, even though i said i was gonna (and will) rotate between them (glad i saved her's when i did, the link to MissMalice's photobucket went rotten) and if Big Olaf is a judge, i understand him not voting for me either, kinda got into an argument with him about Nassandra's big blue you know whats (for which i am sorry, i had a bad day that day) not too long after official launch, and I'm sure at least 2 more of them don't like blussies *+^_^+* much+^_^+
also 79 people, that's like a lot of people to compete with+^_^+

1. Never said I was mad at you; never WAS mad at you.
2. If the link went rotten, why not just have told me? Its an easy 2min fix... I use that same Photobucket for all the other forum commissions I do. Its easy to lose track of a single picture that was completed months ago.
3. How do you even know I didn't vote for you? Way to judge me without even knowing me, sheesh. I don't even know what your entry looks like.

People, stop jumping to silly conclusions as to why you didn't win. You win, you win; you lose, oh well. Its a game, its the INTERNET. When it comes right down to it, what does it matter if your video game character wins a bit of virtual currency?

Chik, I'm sorry you get the impression that I "was mad at you". I can assure you that I'm a perfectly mature woman who isn't going to throw a hissy fit. If you take my bluntness as being mean and judgemental, you should probably just take a chance to get to know me. I mean, why not just have asked about the situation all those MONTHS ago. I didn't even remember who you were until I saw you post here a few days ago. Seriously, all this time you thought I was holding some e-grudge against you when I was never mad to begin with. 9h from now, some of the contestants told em they can'T get online at the time i set so I think a lil bit of later is alright. Even tho that answer is already answered by olaf again, i should get faster here.

I choosed the judges and told em all to be neutral, their votings were reasonable and I support their decision. I choosed the Judges and judged myself. If you wanna blame anyone there is only me you can blame.

If you think the judging was done poorly, bad or wrong you can tell me that either in a PM or on my wall.

This topic is over and I ask all my judges as other contestants to ignore further things like this since its not topic in this thread.
