What to feed a celled mag?

Recently I got a Kapu Kapu kit from a friend of mine. I had a celled mag once before but I fed it once and it changed back (an antidote). I was just wondering if it is possible to feed them after celled or should I just get my mag to lvl 200 and then change it?
