Was inevitable, what with all of these companies going digital, and things like this are much easier to access on the internet. Still a shame though.

They were still around. And the world kept spinning.

Its a shame. I had some epic reads from Nintendo Power, and some good memories. 90s NP were the best though, especially when they had their comics for series like Nester, Super Mario, Zelda, Star Fox, and even Metroid. Those were good days.

My first mag was Volume 28. My childhood cries today.

This actually doesn't offend my childhood in the slightest...

I read Sega Visions and InterAction Magazine

Still, I guess it kind of sucks in a way that Nintendo Power was a pillar of the era of my childhood, and now I just feel that much older.

I would be more sad if I still read it today. I stopped reading it around the mid-90's when all they talked about was Nintendo 64 and I had no interest in that console. I also remember I used to read Gamepro but then stopped reading that when I got the internet and discovered just how much quicker it is to get video game news and how things I've read on the internet would then be mentioned in Gamepro a few months later.
