due to the recent GameGuard fiasco, I cannot play PSO2, thus i am bored. but lucky for you i got this crazy idea.

I've seen fashion shows on PSO world but I never knew what the winner would get besides bragging rights. So I'm going to host my own, however the winner(s) of this one will get a character concept drawing in the likeness of their character, drawn by Me of course. all you have to do is post pictures of your character here, if I like it then I draw it, it's as simple as that. the event ends whenever I get tired or the characters begin to look ugly.

note:As you probably guessed you'll have better luck with a female character (not meaning you won't win with a male character)

....and go!

I've always thought artwork done by real people of game renditions were awesome. There's some really creative people out there. Plus! Who wouldn't want to see their character in fan art?

Agreed, most are just screenshots of female chars that focus on their maxed out tits that look bad and very unrealistic.

mere practice if you haven't gotten the inspiration to create ideas, you still must keep your skills sharp, this is but mere practice plus it seems you didn't read the rules they specifically imply i draw the ones I like... and just how many do I like thus far?

There's only like one or two people in this thread with true maxed out settings at max resolution for the game. Some of the best screens i've seen here seem to be running at medium settings at most, yet they still look great.

You can still make some pretty cool screens even on lower settings ^-^

Also, if this ain't Max Settings, which I'm sure I've increased everything to its limits in my settings, then somebody best tell me somethin', now.

Unless you're plannin' to pull somethin' out of your ass and say it's because I'm not showing a screenshot in 1920x1080 resolution... then that can be arranged.

Only have this oldish one for now. Don't you find it hard to get good screenshots when threads like these arise? :]

Oh and. If people don't have photoshop or the skills to enhance their shots. If you didn't know, Photobucket seems to have tools to that now. I recommend just having a play around with the filters they have already set.

And guy... this... this is just amazing! From the pose to the angle to the Force perfectly caught mid-air in the background to the mobs and finally to the Ice Debris greatly placed over-head... I am swept away with this damn-perfect capture that just yells 'combat' to me! That interestingly handsome face and smirk makes the final cut to this great shot. >< Comes close enough to look like it should've been the game's Box Cover-Art. lol

Now that looks pretty maxed out now =P Not many people can run the game with high AA settings like that. Your char looks familar i've must have been in a multi with you sometime.

Ah, yes.. about that there Resolution.. I'm planning to hop on it later today. I work with 2 monitors. One's a 60" TV that I like to keep in the living room, and obv the other one's this 16:10 monitor I keep in me bedroom.

I'm feelin' giddy now. Gonna start unhookin' the tower to move very soon'ish!

Also I tried the Ambient Occlusion settings I also saw floating around here... wasn't my cup of tea, so just excluded it.

Finally, perhaps we have played. I do get around. Never lock my games when I'm leading and I constantly try to join people when available.

I'm excited now too! I also haven't manually edited any of my settings like what has been described here so when I get home from work I'll be sure to mess around with it, hopefully get some even nicer shots for yall! :D

That's how I felt too when I discovered Sizustar's post =P I play on my HDTV myself, have my xbox and PC hooked up to it works great. I used to have a 16.10 1680/1050 mon myself :)

I managed to put settings on the highest values as far as sliders can go. But I still can't make my screen resolution to 1920/1080. I think my MacBook doesn't want it to happen, or I'm not setting it right somewhere.

I'll be trying out differen't PAs (though it's all shooting for RAngers)

That's pretty awesome. I like the "dark magic" vibe. Also, the ninja mask paired with the Illusion head is a really interesting look. It all works surprisingly good together.

Um, me. But what do truth tables have to do with programming?I as well. Truth tables are useful when it comes to designing algorithms as it shows that an expression means what you think it means.

But most programmers I know don't use them. It's usually the comp sci people that do.

ART Blog: after doing this I've gotten some poses down for for potential winners however some of my ideas for characters are more complex than others, not to say that I put less work into my art, I try to make each one better than the last. however it's easier to execute the more simple ideas. what i mean to say is that i have plans for a lot of the characters in this thread so just don't get discouraged every time you see a new winner that isn't you

I'd also appreciate not being called a SEXIST, I'm only trying to do something for fans of PSO2 no need to criticize me or discredit my contest. Yes it is a contest. Sorry guys you didn't hear from me much last week I got sandboxie to work with PSO and my gameGurad Crash stopped happening, plus school had me a bit busy. I haven't gotten a chance to look at the newer characters but i can expect to see a lot of dual mech gun bullet time poses.

Can you explain how you got sandboxie to work with pso2? Mine stopped working a little while ago and freezes at the login screen.

I noticed a few days ago that, the shorter you make your character, the bigger you can make the breasts. That's why you'll never see a actual grown woman with balloon-bubbles, but always the shorties with the beachball chests.

That's what I thought at first too, but you're incorrect. I did side-by-side comparisons next to shorter characters, wearing the same outfit, and saw that theirs were decidedly larger. If it was a proportion issue, they would have been the same size. That was not the case.

Are you absolutely certain it's not because of the differences in shape, either? Because that definitely factors into it.

My experience has been that the boobs are consistent size across all heights and body shapes.

I'm extremely certain. I've spent hours in the makeover shop messing with options, body types, heights, etc. since the game came out. It makes a difference, yes, but not such an extreme one as height does, as simple a change that is.

My experiences have been vastly different from your own.

Also, a bit off topic here but yea. They're technically the same size but since the customization is done part by part, the proportions aren't maintained all throughout therefore we could make a kid with melons fit for larger ladies, desu. In contrast to that, the largest ladies cannot have larger melons because melon size can only go up to a maximum, same as the other parts such as body height.

Also, using a controller makes you able to use more finesse when inching your character into just the right spot in a frame for a perfect angle. Can't do it with a keyboard.

Dat gun. Omg, and you are green, and purple at the same time! You! :D Love that close-up in the lobby. ^ ^,

lol, I know. Those colors have been Myra's since PSU (including the red braided twin tails {though a different style now} and green eyes). And that's one reason I made sure to get that gun. Even if the green is a bit off from her green (people keep calling it the Eva 01 gun >.<; ).

Course, that awesome gun has issues... The butt-end will go through her arm when she shoots, and--as you can see in the pic--her left hand doesn't really support it. But still! It mostly matches her. ^.^

I know what you mean by that. I spend hours upon hours tweaking the character design. Though most of my Myra was made in the CC, I'd reopen it at times to tweak her and even did so before importing her into pso2. ^.^

there's a menu in game where you can turn on and off various graphic effects+^_^+ http://bumped.org/psublog/pso2-options-guide/#draw just turn off ブラー Blur +^_^+ (i prefer it off all the time, SEGAC didn't quite do a good job with blur effect, everything is good though)+^_^+
