Hello, fellow gamers. I am Valoria.

I have long held an interest in Phantasy Star. It has always appealed to me, but alas, I have never played any of the games, excluding a few minutes of Phantasy Star Universe for PS2.

Recently, I was completing a Web search for Mac OS compatible MMOs since World of Warcraft and Diablo do not appeal to me when I came across a little nugget of information saying that Phantasy Star Online 2 will be available in North America in 2013 and that it would be free to play.

I look forward to its release, and until then, I will be stalking these forums in search of any new information.

I have never played a patched game before. The most tech-savvy I have gotten with games in the past 9 months is downloading ROMs for an emulator. I am still quite new to the Apple Mac world and often get lost.

How does one go about downloading the Japanese version of this game and applying the English patch? Is there a guide on this message board that I can peruse?

Oh, I am quite certain I will like it. The first thing that struck me about the overall feel of this game is that it seemed similar to Xenosaga, and when it comes down to it, Xenosaga is one of my favorite video games of all time.
