1) Read the fucking threads around!

There's something in your PC making Gameguard freeze, and what do you mean you have no antivirus? Maybe you got hella infected by some badass virus which makes it freeze?

You can run the game with those specs.
If gameguard is freezing the game for you, It has to be a program what is causing it...
Try running only the game with nothing else open, make sure no programs besides windows opens at start up, also, you do have an antivirus, don't you?

get one. MSE, Avira, MalwareBytes,AVG.

Repair the installation using the launcher. gameguard could be corrupted.

3 things.
1)Next time, do it showing all the process
2)I can see there that you have Avast.
3)What the heck is that "SnippingTool"?

So yeah, uninstall Avast if you want to play.
If you can from the control panel try with Ccleaner.

more then GameGuard could be corrupted, or GameGuard might be seeing something it doesn't like (like a virus) in your processes+^_^+ i really suggest getting an antivirus on your machine asap, especially if it's been running without AV for awhile, god knows what diseases it has.....
[SPOILER-BOX]
The advantage of having anti-virus software is that it keeps Viruses off your computer.
There are several types of viruses such as Spyware, Adware, Trojans, Malware, and Worms.
Without anti-virus protection, viruses can send your personal information such as Logins, Identity, and Credit card numbers. They can also completely destroy your computer in more than one way. Some of the ways they could destroy your computer are... Changing registry settings to make all programs unusable, corrupting or removing vital system files to make the system unbootable, and change the user password to make it almost-impossible to login to your computer.

Having no anti-virus software is comparable to having a fire with no smoke-alarms.
And what about a robber going into a bank with no cameras or staff, and the door being wide open saying "Rob Us".

If you want the best possible free protection then we suggest a good firewall, a good anti-virus software, good anti-spyware and good anti-malware.[/SPOILER-BOX]
for all we know, GG is having an issue with a virus that infected a core file or driver or something+^_^+

3)What the heck is that "SnippingTool"?

Edit, shiro already pointed out you have antivirus+^_^+ also, snipping tool is something M$ introduced in WinXP, it's in your accessories folder in the start menu alongside notepad, calculator, command line, etc.+^_^+ it's a nifty tool that lets you crop a section of your screen (and even draw a line on the "cut" section) and save it as a PNG+^_^+ it's hidden deep inside the C:\Windows\system32 folder if you can't find the accessories folder in the start menu+^_^+

Check the screenshot of his process list, he has Avast running and that might be the cause he can't play the game.

6 gigs of ram is more than plenty for this game. you only "need" 2 for games.

did you delete, or uninstall? you kinda need to use the uninstall wizard that came with avast to make sure your registry doesn't get all mucked up+^_^+
