Gunner/Ranger I believe, so you can take advantage of the Twin Mechgun Gear.

I'm thinking it's along the lines of this

Unless you can see yourself taking serious advantage of Standing Snipe or Zero Range Advance more often than not, you ought to avoid maxing those skills.

For max DPS, Ranger/Hunter or Ranger/Fighter easily takes the cake. Gunner cannot simply compare as Gunner just doesn't have the spread DPS that launchers have (although Fire and Rebellion are very good PAs), plus Hunter and Fighter boost RA damage up by so much. Standing Snipe is also very easily abused.

All three trees:

The HU/FI trees are designed for subbing, so you may want to adjust them if you actually play those classes.

Been a while but how would a Tank Hunter/ Skill Tree look and do with Ranger being the primary class? Just curious for later levels, modes and bosses :)!

Thanks!

Absolute max damage?

Something like this (http://pso2ss.6.ql.bz/ranger/index.php?code=03001000010505001010000600000000000 000000010000000C), probably.

Tank hunter? Not that great. I think all of the skills down that tree lower ranged attack, and none raise it. Plus, it seems strange to get striking defense boosts on a ranged class.
