Hey and stuff.

Figured it was about time for me to sign up here. I played PSU for about 2 years on and off, and had enough lasting memories of good times to get amped for PSO2. I played on XBL so playing on the PC will be an awkward transition.

Once I get my router and shiz settled, I'll probably start playing on the JP servers. I'm in the process of moving from the States to South Korea courtesy of the Army.

Just a bit about me:

Age: 22
Ima dood.
Platforms: 360, PC
Hobbies: military shiz. I make tags, gfx and stuff. I'd consider myself above average, but not godliek.

Just a couple questions for the community before i buy into the JP servers...

What are the benefits of playing now versus waiting for the NA release besides playing earlier? I know all about how PSU players got treated by SEGA of America, but optimism should at least be maintained for a new game.

If I get some goodies in the JP servers, and play on the NA servers when it comes out, are community members here willing to do item trades of equivalent value for the respective servers?

Hi & welcome.
Playing on JP side now is a head start for those who can't or don't wanna wait. Knowing the language makes it easier to play & understand more, but, not an absolute must. Since there are plenty of guides & people here to ask if you're stuck.

As for trading, I can't tell. Others should be able to tell ya more on the goods & bads of playing on JP vs. waiting & playing on US servers.

From what I've read so far in the PSO2 GD, it seems like a good majority of players are going to stay in the JP servers.

I don't know a lick of Japanese, which is the only part of me that is conflicting with just waiting for the EN release.
