Just looking for some feed back on a build I'm trying to go for as Gunner main w/ Techer sub. I suppose i'm trying to make my character some what self sefficent with the magority of my dps coming from my gunner build while having a high PP pool from SP and high PP regen. I just feel that I might be coming up short on possible dps or I might be gimping my self some where.

Gear -
weapons are of various grinds but all have fang souls on them. My primary weapons are a Vita T. Gattling +10 and a Vita Beam +10. Armor i'm using the Calvaria set, Back - fang soul, Arm - Singo Soul, Feet - Ra'nsa Soul.

My gunner is currently lv 42 with this build so far - http://ryuhiroshi.funpic.de/pso2/skillcalc.html?INIYIkIYIkIYIkIQI2IYIkIYIkIbIn00000 0ib00000ib00000fdBeGI2c2eAeD000Ib00000ib00000f

In the eventual future I hope for my gunner build to look like this - http://ryuhiroshi.funpic.de/pso2/skillcalc.html?INIYIkIYIkIYIkIYIkIYIkIYIkIbIn00000 0ib00000ib00000febeGIScFeArF000Ib00000ib00000f

and my techer build to look something like this - http://ryuhiroshi.funpic.de/pso2/skillcalc.html?unIYIkIYIkIYIkIYIkIYIkIYIkIbIn00000 0ib00000ib00000febeGIScFeArF000Ib00000fkbesI2bsb2I 2bX0000

The main problem I see is that it's almost never a good idea to spread out points in many skills as most(if not, all) scale better when maxed. For example, you shouldn't get Automate Deadline since 5 points into the skill has an unguaranteed proc rate and on top of that, you will have access to Resta. Remember that your MAG can auto-heal you at low HP, too.

The main benefit I see for GU/TE is the ability to keep shifta up on yourself 24/7. Buffs use your base stat to determine how much it adds. With that said, you can max all three R-atks to get the most benefit out of your permanent Shifta because stat ups go into your base stat. Doing that along with getting the usual TMG gear, max PP attack restore, and one point in Chain leaves you with 3 points for Showtime. As for your TE tree, I would suggest maxing both Shifta skills then getting PP restorate + element weak hit or PP up 1 & 2. Don't know if element weak hit works for non-magic though.

There's one more thing I want to mention. TMG happens to be the best weapon to apply status effects with. You could get really nifty with TE's Poison Boost + a TMG with Poison on it. This just might be the best class combo to effectively pull off Poison Ignition since TMG has multiple gap closing skills to get you in Ignition range.

That's my 2 cents.

Thanks for the feed back. This here is probably the best I can do for my gunner spec, and re-adjusted the Techer spec - link (http://ryuhiroshi.funpic.de/pso2/skillcalc.html?unIYIkIYIkIYIkIYIkIYIkIYIkIbIn00000 0ib00000ib00000fdBeKI2sSeCeD000Ib00000fkb2XIdIhIdI 2bX0000)

however I can't readjust my gunner spec because ever sense Sega switched the moon rune captcha I haven't been able to get to the AC store so I can't change my gunner build.

-Automate deadline is just a 20% chance to activate. You have to be hit near death 5 times for it to even activate once. XD
-Aerial advance level 1 only translates to a 2% increase in damage... negligible.
-Shifta Advance, even with a level 14 shifta = 1.25x damage. Not entirely negligible, but shifta without shifta advance would give about 1.2x damage. That 5% difference will not be very noticeable...
-Shifta Critical: from what I heard, it is not a +%. But rather, if you had a 20% critical chance, it would be 20*1.15 = 23% chance to critical. You're going to need a LOT of ability to make good use of shift critical unfortunately. Your gunner build doesn't do that however, so I think the points in shifta critical will be wasted.

My build:
http://ryuhiroshi.funpic.de/pso2/skillcalc.html?unIYIkIYIkIYIkIYIkIYIkIYIkIbIn00000 0ib00000ib00000ioeDI2cFbnbxIk009b00000fkbIdI2idIkJ 2Ik0008

Since the only things I found useful about a techer subclass is shifta, resta, and pp restorate, I thought you can pretty much put whatever you want for the rest of the sp... But, if you ever decide to main as a techer and have some other subclass, you really don't want to have a gimpy one or have to buy another skill tree. @_@ So I built my Te as I would a FO-type just in case.
-I also stacked ability because of my mag build lacking ABI. I think stacking range would be optimal though...

About the status effects Dinosaur mentioned, I strongly agree with this. It annoys the heck out of me when I see Gunners put Mizer+Shoot III+Spirita Boost on their twin machineguns because twin machineguns are not PP reliant like assault rifles are. It's much easier to affix than a status effect, sure, but it shows little understanding of the class potential, which is high rate of fire. If you have level 10 Attack PP Restore, Spirita Boost is just flat out silly because you regen PP incredibly fast.

Specifically on a GuTe build, stacking Attack PP Restore and PP Restorate is overkill. The only way to justify this build is if you make heavy use of Satellite Aim, and I can assure you most people prefer to just spam Elder Rebellion since getting into melee position is a huge hassle in MPA. If you find yourself using Elder Rebellion most of the time (and most likely you will), PP Restorate will be useless to you because you're not recharging PP during an active PA.

Something I want to ask is: what is your playstyle geared towards? MPA farming? Boss-oriented? I understand that you want to be self-sufficient, but being a jack-of-all trades will most likely leave you dissatisfied with your damage potential.
