Hello there, you see, im trying to use my DualShock 2 for this game. I bought a USB adapter (it looks like this one: http://www.my-batteries.net/images/game-accessories/Usb-To-2x-Ps2-Controller-Joypad-Converter-Adapter.jpg )

My PC detect the gamepad as "Twin USB Joystick" and it works with my emulators (the joysticks too, vibration is not important to me)
The problem is that PSO2 doesnt even detect it...anyone knows what to do? I've already tried the in-game options, and nothing, also im sure the gamepad has the Analog light on and well, as i mentioned before, it works with my emulators, i havent tried it with another recent game because i dont have any other that supports a gamepad.

More info that may be important:
Im using a laptop, with Win Vista x64; the adapter came with drivers, but ive heard those are basic drivers, im wondering if there are more advanced or better drivers...

PD. sorry if my english sounds broken

Honestly, if that's the case, I might suggest using a 360 controller emulator, like this one here: http://code.google.com/p/x360ce/

Give that a try and see how it works.

You can try using MotionInJoy (http://www.motioninjoy.com/) for it. It's what I use to get PSO2 and other programs to recognize my DS3 controller. I imagine a DS2 will work as well.

MotionInJoy afaik only has drivers and detection for DS3. Unless I'm mistaken, it wont even recognize a DS2.
