You know you can take screenshots on the Vita, right? PS button + start. Or were photos more convenient?

How are the graphics compared to PC version? I'm debating on getting a vita for the holidays, this would be one of the main reasons to get one besides a couple of other games I'm interested in

Those were just the screenshots showing PSO2 Vita in the store. All he did was applied for the CBT.

Well it's obviously not going to look as good as the PC version but from some of the Videos i've seen it looks pretty good still.
probably comparable to one of the lower PC settings, i heard someone say that recently but i haven't seen PSO2 on the lower settings.

Being Portable is its strength... It sure as hell will look awesome to play PSO 2 on such a tiny device where you go with it... :-)

It's just a shame it's tied to wireless access points. It's only PSO2 on the go if you go where there are open wifi points at your destination.

Is PSO2 incompatible with 3G or something? And if so, is using your phone as a router not an option, either?

From the Vita site:

ゲームをプレイするには、Wi-Fi通信環境または、3G通信環境が必要になります
Guess you can use 3G so I was wrong about that. I thought I read something somewhere that they weren't doing that. Oh well. I also don't see why you couldn't use your phone as a go-between wouldn't be possible.

I don't understand why people on this forum continue to want to compare PC graphics to Vita's or use it as a bar in comparison even.... todays budget PC will smoke PS3 and Xbox in the graphics dept.... Vita is a handheld! I suggest you see:

http://www.destructoid.com/tgs-phantasy-star-online-2-on-the-vita-is-a-great-fit-235518.phtml

it will give you an idea of what to expect. I wouldn't be surprised if Sega periodically updated aesthetics as they push vita limits over time, even if not its still PSO on the go. If you don't have a vita I suggest popping into a gameshop and see the likes of Ragnarok Odessey, PASBR, LBP running on this thing... and these are all 1st gen games...

It's only PSO2 on the go if you go where there are open wifi points at your destination. If people have an iPhone (or similar) they could always turn their device into a wireless network, letting the PS Vita connect to it. That way you'll be able to play as you move (in case you don't have a PS Vita with 3G installed, that is). I'm using this method, and it works quite nicely.
