pso2.exe Error - Urgent

Hi all. My friend is currently trying to set up PSO2 but every time she tries to launch the game, it comes up with a pso2.exe error. Does anyone know how to solve this issue? I've looked everywhere for a possible solution but couldn't find one. Thanks~

I'm having an error with launching also. Mine loads up the splash, gameguard loads up then game guard goes away and the splash stays for a while, disappears and the gameguard logo pops up in my system tray then I get "Pso2.exe has stopped working." Also, the launcher doesn't show me which version I'm running it just says "version" :I
