the last mainstream Phantasy Star MMO http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phantasy_Star_Universe, it was one of 3 MMOs ever released on the Xbox 360 platform+^_^+ i played a lot of PSU 360 between 09-11, but did not play much during the last year the servers were up (moneyz got tight)+^_^+

I used to play the 360 demo a bit until it went down. Then spent most of my time on PSP2.

Was a prominent player on PSU for a good while. Had fanfaction and the whole deal. Lost a little steam towards the end, but I was there for the end. The characters lived on and started new chapters in PSP2, though I haven't done PSP2i yet.

PSO 2, I basically started anew. But not in a major commital way. Yeah, I play a character on it, but perhaps plan to play someone different on the US server. Non-commital meaning that I have yet to spend money on it. I plan to do it more on the localized version because I want to support people bringing good efforts overseas. Plus, this F2P model is much easier to swallow. Pay only for what you want. On the other hand, the bad thing about it in comparison to PSP2 is that you don't have permanent assets. As with any online-only game, when you buy stuff it's not only virtual, it's something you agree will disappear when the servers go up.

(Now if only Brewster's Millions was made for today's timeline. He'd easily be able to blow through all that cash and have no permanent assets stuck with him. Only the clothes he wore from the beginning.)

I used to play Psu as well back in the days and yes it was my first and cherished online Phantasy Star experiences. Its a shame it had to die but it was perhaps for the best. And what kinda sicko would put up items for 999999999?! That wasnt cool D:

I played PSU 360, myself. Had one of each race, my newman and CAST dressed up in their PSOBB gear. all of my chars were 130+, then the lack of updates drove me away. I did get all of my techs to 31+, though.

No it was in the states too, I played on it, but it had the typical SoA treatment and shut down within 3 years.

No PSO began on the Sega Master System, then PC, at some point 360 the became BB on PC. Not sure if 360 had a BB verison. I only bought a 360 at announcement of PSU closing on PC then played 360 PSU until just before it went down as I had no drive to play after 360 closure announcement. BUt i do agree with the fuck EN version of PSo2.

Played pso on dreamcast and psu on Xbox 360.. Character was a male cast named Nemesis quit a year before server shut down.. My pso2 character is also named Nemesis. I'm on ship 2 is anyone remembers me and want to send me a friend request :)
