I e-mailed Sega about my problems, and after taking a "questioner" I got a e-mail stating this:

Thank you for e-mailing Sega Technical Support.

Sega is committed to providing a solid online experience for Game Cube
gamers. However, after performing exhaustive connectivity and
configuration troubleshooting, we have been unable to resolve an issue where
games get disconnected during game play and items are lost. To date, our
internal test departments have been unable to duplicate this
experience.

In order to better understand the problem, our test department has
agreed to internally test the games affected by this event. You will need
to send your game disk with all packaging to Sega.

After testing, Sega will send a replacement disk - as long as you have
provided all of the requested information/material.

You need to send:

· Everything that came with the game: The game case (including SN/AK)
and the disk. This is to perform a complete test of the game.

· A piece of paper with:
- Your NAME, Address, and phone number
- ISP You use and type of connection BB/dial up
- A brief description of the problem
- IF something is missing from the game packaging, it will be
returned to sender without a replacement disk!

We recommend getting a tracking number to track the package!

Send it to:

Any thoughts?

Are you using PPPoE? We're already blaming that for random BSOD :3

I use both a official Nintendo 251 card, and I use Road Runner (Cable) so I don't have that PPPoE crap. I'd have to spend about 5 bucks to send a game back to them, so I can get another one that's exactly alike.

I wouldn't do it mainly because its not going to fix anything. But it sux that we sit here paying Sega to get online only to get FSOD and BSOD then having to start over. Fortunately I'm not online yet and have not experienced such a thing. But I can't help but feel sorry for the countless hunters that are affected by these cruel and unusual gliches (if that's what they are).
