If Datel hold to this, it'll mean the Powerboard will be availiable in stores, and for delivery, by Friday.

I was talking with this one guy who's pretty reliable at the Funcoland I goto, and he said that the keyboard won't be out in stores until a couple of weeks (around mid april), but it'll be on sale on the http://www.codejunkies.com site at the beginning of April. And seeing as how the date was just now pushed, I'm inclined to believe him and just hope my order doesn't get screwed up like I've been hearing that's been happening to others. So far, I haven't had the dounble order issue others have been having.

I ordered mine from codejunkies on saturday. Someone has since told me that it will be shiping on april third. The site said it would take 7 days, so I'm expecting mine no later than the 10th.

Got any idea which stores will have them in stock so personages without a lot of cash can purchase them directly and not have to pay shipping and handling?

i'm checking best buy tomorrow (april 3rd) to see if they will have them in stock or if they even have a SKU# for that product

i talked to them on the 28th before i knew that Datel pushed the release date back, and they said that typically, whenever a product is released from a company or supplier whose products they host, it takes 2 or 3 days for them to carry that item in stock, so i'll give them about a week or so

and then again, the guys at best buy can be total idiots sometimes ..... http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

I called Datel myself and they said it can only be ordered from the site and they plan no US release in stores anytime soon. Also Im having trouble ordering one now. Im getting a W331 error on their site. Does anyone know what this is because Datel isnt saying anything to me by email and calling them doesnt help because they dont know anything.

well, so much for the visit to best buy, considering they pushed the release date back, AGAIN, to the 11th ... come on Datel!

i'm willing to wait, as long as they use this extra week to work out any defects or whatnot ... better to wait for a delayed quality release than a botched hurried product

furthermore, i don't see their reasoning at all as to why they are only taking online orders at this time ... best buy already distributes Datel products, what reason would they have to distribute some of them, but not all of them? when they released the Action Replay for Gamecube, i could find them almost instantaneously at best buy

Strange, I work at the FuncoLand in South St. Louis County, MO and we haven't heard anything about receiving GC Keyboards. The other stores in our area haven't either.

Well, that's what I was told http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif But who really knows which is true and not? Maybe he heard some rumor, thought it was true and told me. Ya never know.

But what is confirmed is that the date is pushed back to April 11th, which supports the "pushed back to mid april" thing. But the post I read about it not being released in the States has me confused. Certainly, that statement can't be meant as "forever." Maybe that representative meant like "It's not going to be released as soon as it's out here in the UK. Oh, it's tea time, Harold, did you make sure to bring some more Penguins?" http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif Or something like that... (btw, if you got that joke, I tip my hat to you sir)

Well, from all the random info floating around, I guess the only thing to do is just wait and see if it comes by the 11th via whatever mail service they're sending it through.

I don't get it, but it definitely sounds like something the British would say... vaguely Douglas Adams like....

at the risk of being off topic http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

The Penguin is probably the most well known and popular chocolate covered biscuit in Europe. However, any biscuit enthusiast from Australia will tell you the Penguin is like some piece of cardboard compared to the wonderfully delightful Tim Tam. And both will agree that any chocolate products from the US looks and tastes like excrement http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif Some people can be so violent when it comes to candy, hehe.

And knowing is half the battle...
