wow... the vita version looks really weak

To be fair, the system wide screen capture function of the Vita doesn't do games justice by saving a compressed .jpg and looking at it on say a crappy TN LCD monitor. Things look much better on the actual system since its OLED screen makes the image sharper (native res?), and the colors more vibrant.

Over the 8 months I've been playing PSO2, I never knew Banthers had a grappling attack. That ended up one shotting me since I was level 21 at the time.

Were you alone in the area? If there were other people in the MPA, it's possible that it was someone else that triggered Chrome Dragon to appear.

Slow with uploading, the video was recorded in early January. I also was purposedly locked at lvl 40 for some time, to get the subclass to 40 as well, and also to not be overleveled when I would record that video. ^^;

Now he's not much higher leveled than back then though, he's still lvl 45 hunter and 44 fighter, but I've been focusing mostly on getting Joh and Blune up to the 40 range (Joh is now also 45/44, while Blune is 40/40).

Cast body scaling is unpredictable.

I gave my cast the same height as my human and she ends up shorter..

It's more so the male cast bodies that are really big, like PSO RAcast big, but then the guy puts a fleshie head on it. It's extremely jarring.

And body proportions are weird as hell in this game for everyone anyways. The model devs were smoking something hard when they did upper and lower torso proportions so you end up with these crazy hips.

Well, what's jarring is the scaling required.

Some of them want to look like dudes in suits, but when your arms are about a foot too far to the side it suggests you had to amputate the pilot's arms to fit him in there.

And that's no bueno.

The weird shoulder stances, women being defaulted to hips always being forward, and the hip to upper torso ratio (I mean the width around it minus giant boobs) makes for weird setups. Fat people look like their stomach ate all of their upper torso and skinny have weirdly wide hips.

I found it rather strange that they didn't have a way to independently change the dimensions of the hips and waist (instead of having that catch-all "body mass" slider that is way too constricting).

This is really way too late in coming, but I was incredibly busy over the past month. Anyway, this is from Els' first abduction, with a party that wasn't expecting an abduction, and we managed to clear it on our first go. :3 Also, Els would like to apologise in advance to anyone her clone freezes to death. I usually have Gi Barta on standby for Vol Dragon while doing TACOs. ^^;

I really hate the fact things have stat requirements on a drip feed game where you have to pay real money for different builds.

Level requirements were so much better.

I've never had a problem with the reqs on weapons, but the unit reqs in this game are just absurd. You've literally gotta build for 606 DEF.

Assuming most potent race/gender/class combos (F Cast, M Newman RA/GU) you are still 60 R-Def Mag Points out from equipping those on your typical builds at 55/55. Figuring Ragne/Snowcats will be the same. Trolololo.

One would think if they put up stuff with a requirment this high that the level 60 cap won't be far away to make it easier to equip. 5 levels on main and sub will do alot for your Def me thinks.

Though I dont need another cap update. It took me till 2 days ago to get my first class to 55 at all and I've been using 75% exp tickets non stop since level 50. So yeah I'm fine with staying level 55 for a while /o/

Welp that just killed my excitetment about these units though. No way I can get 606 T-def as a GU/RA F Newman without raising a new mag thats focused on T-def. It's a real shame, I didn't affix my current Vardha Set fully becaue I was waiting for King Vardha to replace it.

If they are the new Force set it's even more lulsy. At best, 55 F Newman FO gets like 510 T-Def seeing as Force is the only job with an actual T-Def mod higher than the rest (FO/TE with PP convert gets 528 thanks to skill tree). GL making your Mag for that and equipping any top Rod.

It seems more like its a simple combination of looking at the existing maximum class/race multipliers, current level caps, player habits and common stat (Mag) allocation and shitting all over it in an attempt to make a quick cash grab as players buy/reset Mag/Tree tickets prior to the level cap rise in a couple of months to meet their new shiny before it is inevitably trashed. Repeat bi-monthly for maximum profit.
