Interested after Mhunter

I actually only heard of this series after mentioning to a friend that I liked Monster Hunter. Hope to check this out, and maybe polay a few of the games!

I'm kinda the opposite, played PSO first then played Monster Hunter (Freedom Unite) recently and like it quite a bit. They definitely have a similar feel to them in basic gameplay but once you get into the mechanics of getting weapons and armor those systems are typically very different since in PSO/PSU/PSP/PSZ/PSO2 you usually just hunt for the item itself you are looking for instead of materials to make it like in Monster Hunter games. The Futuristic aspect is also a nice change of pace I think compared to alot of RPG games.
