How many hours do I play till I see any rares??

this is driving me crazy because every single time I get those crappy DB sabers, or those useless Varistas, or some dumb crap I can't even use that aren't even rare. Will anyone tell me how many hours do I have to play to till I get a glimpes at a rare item and where would I look after these certain amount of hours??

sorry, hehe notice my rant down further. I've seen people from 70 all the way up till 200+ hours find rares. Its just that, rare. Its not the reason to be playing this game http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif
