I recently changed my isp because their service was so horrible that i had to use a different access number, and i was getting charged 25 cents everytime i used it. Doing that 250+ times a month gets expensive. I wont state any names though.. * cough*ALLTEL*cough* I have all of my settings correct. When i get to the screen where it says "contacting dns server", it stays there, then says something like" error 104 failed to connect to sever. please make sure all of your network settings are correct before connecting." I called my isp and got two dns server numbers and manually put them in and it still doesnt work. anyone had this problem and/or have a solution? my isp's website is amnetline.com
I'm on 56k, and i was able to get online with my old isp with no problems.
