You can't fix it or upgrade it. What you see is what you get. If you want the better ones you have to find them individually.

Just found one of those this minute...it's not too good, I'll stick with my Secret Gear.

What is with SEGA and their useless items? I mean...Proto Regen Gear? What is that? C'mon! It's about as useless and Belra Cannon or some crap like that.
