Just discovered a small "bug". I don't know that it needs fixing; probably just to be cataloged in case someone else has this issue.

I've downloaded the Tweaker a few times in the past months and I had 3 copies in my downloads folder tonight, "PSO2 Tweaker", "PSO2 Tweaker (1)", and "PSO2 Tweaker (2)". I was using the third one, naturally, at version 2.5.5.7.

When it came time to update to 2.5.5.8, it actually updated the first copy of the Tweaker and opened it on top of Tweaker (2). Tweaker (2) stayed open, completely crashed, and did not update. I had to terminate the process to close it. I ran this scenario 3 times to see if it would keep doing it, and got the same result consistently.

Again, this issue is resolved, all I had to do was delete Tweakers (1) and (2), and use the original Tweaker with the default filename instead.

I'm putting the info out there in case it's helpful to someone in the future.

Hey AIDA,

I am running as admin. I even uninstalled everything, and reinstalled using your English installer -- still the same results. All the buttons and everything from the first chapter were in English... the problem comes when I try to do quests. All the prompts and character dialog is in Japanese (but the GUI and menu items are in English).

there's a bug that when you move your rar files and used the new directory to install the patches it wont work...you'll have to use the directory where you successfully installed it.

if yes we'll have to wait for aida to fix it. =)

After I reinstalled everything, I'm pretty sure I kept the rar files where they were.

If it helps, I have a directory that comes up in My Documents folder named (X:\Users\amsmith87\My Documents\SEGA\PHANTASYSTARONLINE2) that Tweaker seems to be updating files in -- not sure if these are just log files for Tweaker, or if these should actually be written somewhere else...

Only frustrating thing so far is I can't read my Arks Road cards. Other than that, just using my context clues ;-)

So I've run a file check and everything looks fine thanks to the update, but I'm still getting stuck in the forever loading screen. I'm currently running the JP vanilla version. Does it matter that I'm running Windows 8 in parallels on a mac? When I try to use the Sega launcher, I get errors 103, 105, and 106. Not sure if any of that is related to my problem when I use the tweaker. Thanks!

How about a function to back-up the Story Patch files that was downloaded through tweaker?

Currently, there are 56 files that need to be downloaded separately from the big Story Patch rar. So, this function will clearly help to save time (some have slower internet speed) in updating story patch. Another back-up folder could be made in win32 folder, as example with the name 'Story Patch Tweaker back-up'.

AIDA for the new tweaker V2.... just from the main screen screenshot where do i download/check patches etc? is it the ! button or the Tweak button or clicking the circle icons

this is just my impression when i first looked at it.... might wanna make it obvious

Well i got that issue solved! but now when it starts to load, a box pops up and says "pso2.exe has stopped working" and i have to close the program. please help

No one can help without any details. Screenshots? What goes wrong when? Do you have direct X installed? Ect?

here are two screenshots and i just bought the computer about two weeks ago and should easily have the capability to play the game. i havent done much downloading on it yet.

but i do have directx installed

are you on windows 8.1?(8.1 doesn't work well with pso2) and try to see if the benchmark works: http://download.pso2.jp/benchmark/PSO2_CC2.zip.

I'm having an issue whereby I can login ok but as soon as I go to the character select screen I get the following helpfull (not to me) message from windows...

"The instruction at 0x01c158cb referenced memory at 0x2dec2000. The memory could not be read"

I've done a memory check and everything reports back ok.

I've run Tweaker and it says that there is an issue with Gameguard but after having run the Tweaker fix I still get the same issue and Tweaker still says that there is a problem with Gameguard. Delete Gameguard and re-install?

Problem solved. Deleted Gameguard folder and whilst doing that I noticed that there were two PSO2 folders. Deleted the one that was in the wrong place, ran a file check through PSO's launcher then used tweaker to check for any GG issues. It found, lets just say, a couple or more............all is now well 8-)

I might just be a little dumb but for some reason when I click the buttons to change settings none of them take place and I can't even launch the game with tweaker any idea why?

The benchmark for pso2 works on it's own, so it's an easy way to see if the game runs on your system, and the problem isn't something else. So it looks like the problem is something else. Maybe a gameguard error? Aida's tweaker -> blue orb -> troubleshooting -> fix game guard errors.

The Fix PSO2.EXEs feature in the Tweaker is currently broken (It downloaded the outdated version of the exe files).

Also, isn't the Uninstall Patches and Restore Back-Ups are doing the same process (They restore the original files from Back-up folders)?

thanks for the help! i got the game up and running but i cannot log onto my sega id for some reason. i even tried registering with another email and i still cannot get it to work. once i register my sega id, do i have to register it to pso2?

Do you mean log into the game its self ? Because reason why.. the servers are down for maintenace, or do you mean the website ? if so i had the same issue, with logging in at the website. My issue was solved, basically there is a timelimit to the capcha code, i believe it is 2 mins.

If you mean none of the above and i haven't helped then someone will help you soon enough.

i was big on PSU and since the servers went down i have been waiting for this to come out and i finally decided to just go ahead and get the Japanese version and patch it and now i finally get it downloaded and it is updating haha my luck

Wait, huh? Sorry, can you explain this in more detail?

i was updating my pso2 client of course the tweaker will revert it back to jp version and for some reason i deleted my rar files and decided to DL it again but this time they are not on the directory i used when i installed them first using the tweaker. I tried to install them using this new directory and nothing happens i played the game and those npc balloon chats are still in japanese. and out of no where i moved those files to where they are and poof!!! they are all translated =) i dont know if im the only one having this issue. so sorry for bothering you =)

So this is the second time in a month I've had this (same or similar) issue and I'm only now sharing it because ... well, I like being difficult apparently. So here's the deal: I run PSO2 on two computers: one is my desktop, the other is my laptop (which happens to be a MacBook Pro running Windows 8 via Boot Camp). At one point, it continuously failed to update PSO2 and the tweaker kept spitting out an error when repairing the .exes, saying that they couldn't be found. I deleted everything, copied the files from my desktop (which works perfectly), put them on my laptop, and everything worked. Then PSO2 had an update, and now it says a file cannot be found (I copied said file from the backup thumbdrive I had from my desktop and Windows told me it existed, so I said to overwrite just in case). Then I repaired the exes, but still PSO2 fails to update because it cannot find that file. When I clicked the analyse install for issues, it downloads the patches then crashes (hence the uploaded error log this time). So ... here's hoping you can help me with this issue, because it's a major pain in the ass to copy everything from my desktop to a thumbdrive to my laptop every week or so when they update.

Also, FYI, for a long time now I have been unable to alter the opening of PSO2 on my laptop. I've tried removing the video files, swapping the video files, restoring the video files, everything says that they're removed but they still play when I start the game. Don't know if it's relevant or not, but that's when the file issues first started. Yes PSO2 tweaker has administrator privileges, and yes my PSO2 directory is not in the Program Files directory (it's in C:/Games/PSO2 or whatever).

Just an update, i was arranging my desk at work, and as I was doing so, the plug came out of the pso2 patch server i had set up. So that mirror probably won't be working for a few hours. I tried to start it back up again, but it keeps freezing up. So maybe give it a day or two to get back up. I may have to reinstall linux if it's not working, and I'm going to put it in a place where the power isn't going to be an issue.

first of all, sorry for not checking all the posts for my answer, but it's kind of a specific problem.

basically, i can't change the game settings (like resolution and similar things) via tweaker. everything else works, just changing settings do nothing.
Since using the launcher is a pain in the neck (already fixed the pso2updater permissions a million times and it just screws everything again), the tweaker is my best chance be my only choice.

i am currently using version 2.5.5.8, (the v2 preview doesn't let me change the pso2 installed directory). the OS is windows 7x64

hm, i would say maybe? only because there have been times for example where the patcher is "Searching for Updates" and it takes too long, and I click the "X" button and then it instantly uploads error reports to pastebin after the window closes. I'm not sure if that counts as crashing.

First off, Thanks Aida (and all else who helped and are helping to create this for everyone),

Second, and sorry if this has already been answered(I've read through toooons of threads in this forum i swear!), but for the Item translation: Are the descriptions supposed to be translated as well, because only my item names are translated and the descriptions on what they do is still in Japanese.

Third, for story translation: again sorry if this has been answered: a lot of the blue excitement marks on the map which represent the message logs, are all in Japanese too, is this supposed to be in English?

Edit" Also all of the titles are in Japanese. Has this been translated yet or am I experiencing difficulties in the tweaker.

Item descriptions have not been translated yet. AIDA is currently working on translating tutorials, NPC dialogue, and Client Order descriptions that have not been translated yet.

For the blue tablets, can you specify if it is all of them or just some? Most of them should be translated, but we have not translated any of the events for Matter Board 14 as of yet. If you do have some that are in English, could you start taking screenshots of the untranslated event fields?

If you do not see anything appear in English, it is because you do not have the English Story Patch's RAR file itself torrented. Make sure to torrent the file you downloaded from our team's website (search Google for 'pso2 english patch' and it will be the first link) with a program such as uTorrent. Then, open up PSO2 Tweaker, click on the Orb -> Options -> Story Patch Location Reset. Afterwards, go back into the Orb -> Install/Update Patches -> English Story Patch -> Select the newly downloaded RAR file; NOT the torrent. -> OK -> An MS-DOS window should pop-up that displays the installation progress. -> After it is finished, click on Yes when prompted to update the story patch. -> When the update is finished, click on Launch PSO2.

Everything should work fine with the exception of the untranslated events isted above. If you encounter anymore untranslated events after the patch is properly applied, we encourage you to take a screenshot of the event and report it here.

Message packs are separate. We haven't translated those yet. You do have the story patch properly installed it seems from the screenshots you've sent here. Koffie doesn't say anything too pertinent about the story of the game itself---she is just the Administrator that you go to to open new areas and receive other special licenses for your Mag, new Difficulties, Weapon and Subpalette Expansions, etc.

The other areas that are translated, namely cutscenes, event fields, and other matter-board related stuff has been translated for the most part. As Message Packs are not related with the English Story Patch and only contain additional help content on top of normal in-game tutorials, they might be translated along with the tutorials, but I wouldn't truly know the answer to that. AIDA would be the one to go to for more information on whether or not Message Packs will be translated along with in-game tutorials.

And, to clarify again:

We are currently in the process of translating normal NPC chatter, Client Order descriptions, and all in-game tutorial pop-ups. The English Story Patch in its current state translates matter-board related things (blue/gold tablets, matter board objectives, related event nodes on the matter board, cutscenes, cinematics, etc.). In other words, anything that is directly related with the progression and understanding of the game's storyline has already been translated. Kion and the others are working on MB14's translations during their spare time.

The normal English Patch translates Client Orders, in-game menus, and other core translations. This should eventually include NPC chatter, in-game tutorials, message packs, Client Order descriptions, and more, when those are finished being translated. As for the Item Translation Patch, that will be what holds the item description translations.

Everything went ok on download patch with the tweaker! but when i enter game and i try to enter a ship all the ships are offline lol ???? and when i put in my password it gives a error 649 ? is it just me or are the ship offline lol note i was able to put the english patch without any issue..... or maybe that was the issue been all ships offline???

Alright, so I'm fully aware that the game is still under maint., but I wanted to boot it up & see if the Tweaker patches were done successfully (stopping at the Ship Selection screen) & noticed two things:

1st pic is that of some unusually large message regarding the Large Files (no pun intended) that I've never seen before.

2nd pic is referring to fact that everytime I tried to boot up the game, it would just sit there at that little initialization window. Nothing else would happen & not even Task Manager would "see" it doing anything.

Now as of less then 5 minutes ago, loading up the Tweaker gave me an error message saying that the current Item Translator is not compatible with the PSO2 update. Turned that off & the game boots fine now, although the "If you don't agree, then you'll have to exit the game" window's buttons didn't have any text in them (still functioned though).

Was just wondering if anyone else noticed this, is all. Again, I am aware the game's servers are still down. Was just checking...

It's because two things happened:

A) Agrajag uploaded the new english patch to a different host

B) Copy decided to suspend my account because it was too popular.

So, I've had to switch back to dropbox, and because of that, auto-updating won't work until you manually download this update. (THANKS SO MUCH COPY).

Regarding the v2, I'm not sure if it's been said yet but it would be good to close the option boxes after clicking "Save Changes", or at least have some sign that the changes saved.

The exact message is.

The version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32 bit) or x64 (x64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher.

Bug report! I've got a weird problem. If it's not on Sega's end, then I suspect it's either from the EN and Large Files patches, or my haphazard application of such.

I used the Tweaker to update PSO2 last night, then...
-reapplied the then-current EN patch via Tweaker, reapplied the then-current Large Files patch via Tweaker
-saw the partially-completed EN patch shortly afterward, updated to that via Tweaker,
-went to bed, woke up this morning and updated to the completed EN patch and Large Files patch via Tweaker.

I accepted the prompt to make a backup at the beginning of each step.

Logging in afterward, some of my Client Orders are missing from NPCs' lists. Specifically, I've got Black Slaughter 6 (Dark Ragne) cleared and awaiting hand-in (I was squeezing some Time Attacks in before maintenance and the server went down in the middle of one), but Revelle's CO menu only has Black Slaughters up to 4, and the "I have COs for you" speech bubble icon over Revelle's head is blue rather than green.

I was in a rush this morning so I didn't have time to Filecheck. Will see if that fixes it when I get home today.

Are you receiving 0 byte files?
Have you tried using a proxy (like CyberGhost VPN) to update?
I need to do this personally when downloading the client and for every update, but I can do everything else (like connect to the game servers and update the EN patches) normally.
A pretty good way to check if you're blocked is to try to download this file (http://download.pso2.jp/downloader.exe).

Well, fixing PSO2 EXEs seems to do just the opposite

Mine just hangs, and I've redownloaded it a few times. I tried PSOTweaker2, and although it does open it just fine, it doesn't open PSO2 and it won't let me locate the PSO2 folder.

I've also ran both programs as administrator and I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

I downloaded 2.6.6.3 and it claims to have downloaded latests item translation files (which are claimed to work) but then it tells me to turn it off because it doesn't work with latest pso2.

You're trying to launch the game with something that isn't working atm, untick the item translation box on the options menu, things should be fine.

EDIT: Lol nvm, other thread states the item translation is working now.

Just to be clear, none of this is AIDA's fault. It seems we may need to update the status of the English Large Files to "Not Working" if this issue continues to persist for others.

While I know it is an inconvenience, could you all please perform a file check if you experienced this issue, update to the latest version of Tweaker, and try to go to the Campship again after installing all of the English Patches that you used prior to this happening? In other words, try to replicate the issue on your system after performing the file check and updating your patches to the latest versions.

Least my issue is just (presumably) related to my terribad internet.

Also cancel current download seems to have started working how it used to again for whatever reason so completely ignore my last post.

...Only 523 more files + 14 files that failed to finish downloading to go before I can play again! I'll get to play sometime this century. Literally been trying to patch for the last 9 hours.

I wanted to confirm this fixed the never-load campship issue for me. I was updated to the latest ver tweaker, had used it to uninstall my patches and had only applied the latest eng patch after the update. After being unable to load campship (with no other probs so far), I used Tweaker to check all of the files. It updated 25 files. Afterwards, reapplied eng patch, and it's fixed.

Just posting to say it worked for me, if knowing that helps anyone.

Thank you to AIDA and everyone who does so much to try helping fellow players! I'm always impressed at how much volunteer work some of you are doing!

Ran two File Checks and then launched the game without any translation. I still can't hand this CO in to Revelle. Baffling. At least that means it's definitely an issue on Sega's end.

Cancel current download seems to no longer skip to the next file to be downloaded anymore when it gets stuck. Just ends the download process entirely. Would be nice if that would work how it used to again so I don't have to do a file check every time a file gets stuck updating, which happens to me rather frequently.

Cancel current DL only works when you say NO to having the current game, as in could you play yesterday. Always has been that way.

I've been begging for a "refresh current DL" as a third choice, rather than skipping the frozen files, but ....

Not sure what is it related to... My pso2.exe crashed every time I joined Falz Arms. It happens duing intro cutscene right before camera switches to platform. I did file check and can't tell anything until next Falz EQ is announced.

My system is Windows 8 x64, I had all patches installed. Just saying.

edit: I just got to try it out. It appears that when you use the new retry option, it just moves on to the next file. Essentially the same thing that happens when you use the "cancel current DL" option...

I was hoping it would actually retry the current file that was frozen.

Yes. it does the same thing that cancel current does. It just skips the frozen one and goes to the next one.

On the sidebar it says the story patch is working (using 10/9/13), so I go to arks-layer. I click on DL story patch, and it starts Dling 9/11/13. That's the one I already have. Is that one ok to use?

install net framework 3.5 and 4.

i would advise you on placing the tweaker on the game's directory.

run tweaker as admin.

For some reason, I'm still getting permanent blackscreens during every story event (I'm on matter board 5, if that makes any difference) and my sub menus disappear whenever I run a taco. Is this a problem with the story patch? These problems don't seem to happen whenever I don't have it installed.

So I tried running the PSO Tweaker Ver2 and I'm not getting any response when I click on different options...when I click on the "!" it lets me hover over the options but every time I click on a menu item nothing happens? Any idea on what the problem could be? Should I just stick to using the OG Tweaker?

PSO2 Tweaker v2 is a non-functional program until AIDA finishes work on it. The download for it is just there to give you a feel of what the new re-design will be like. :-P

Stick to the original PSO2 Tweaker that is currently in use until further notice of a finished version of PSO2 Tweaker v2 is announced by AIDA.

Two long time issues now:
The setting for it be set to window with it's set resolution keeps going back down to it's lowest, it's not saving my resolution settings for window mode...
Then the OP Swap, it's not working, I keep switching but ti says unknown and it refuses to give me the glorious Vita Op.

Where is this temporary folder that the tweaker uses to extract things like the story patch to? I assume it should be a folder that's called 'TEMPFOLDERAIDAFOOL' or something like that. I cancelled an operation of the tweaker, but the temp folder is still there. I would like to delete it manually since it is clogging my C-Drive.

I have the same problem with this that I do with the official SEGA patcher: I can download about 1 or 2 files just fine but then the next file just stops about half way through. No error or anything, it just stays that way indefinitely and never resumes. I never had this problem with the PSO2 Translation Launcher, but unfortunately that's kind of unusable right now. Is there a way besides right-clicking and restarting download for all almost 9000 files?

This is an issue on your side, I think the fix was to restart your connection/router?

I tried that. Didn't work. Older versions of the tweaker worked for me, but not the newer ones. Do you still have links to an older version? I'll just use the old one. I like the convenience this thing brings.

With this update, I have started having a GG error that I can't fix.
When I try to fix it with the Tweaker GG Fix option the Tweaker says

ERROR - Access to the path 'npggNT64.des' is denied.

How do I allow access to that path?
When I try to start PSO2 GG will come out into the corner, and download 11 things. It's pretty quick. It has no problem doing those 11 things. But then, everything just stops. It sends me to this page here:

I followed the instructions, but all that's in that notepad file (that it gets you to open) are lines with adobe stuff on there. It says to erase all the "game and game guard related" lines at the bottom W/O the "#" on them. There aren't any. The only ones it has are things with the word adobe in them. I was afraid to erase it so I didn't. But now PSO2 won't run and GG can't update itself.

Any help is super appreciated!

No, it's really weird; when I restart the download it seems to finish the file it was stuck on and move on to the next one.

Edit: The problem is that I haven't played the game in a long time so I want to just let the update run overnight, but I can't because the program requires user input to resume downloading.

As far as I can tell the Tweaker, and both the English Patch and Large FIle installs are active and ok, but the only thing that gets translated in-game are the items. (I have not installed the Story Patch)

Is there any way of disabling the tweaker of checking for updates every time it launches? I encounter a particular problem in that if I click "yes" to update, it crashes with a critical error or such, and I have to redownload it manually. It's kind of annoying to do so.

Exactly. Everything was fine before the lastest update of the tweaker. Everything else runs fine the latest story and EN patch except item translation. I guess we have to wait for the Master to help us. AIDA-san! Tasukete!

I really recommend not to use this version of the tweaker until it's fixed....
My antivirus popped up every time I went to start it.

Known issue that occurs with some PCs after they did the latest GameGuard update. Bad news is that you basically just can't play until it's fixed.

Until then I'm not using the tweaker and just start the game from its normal launcher.

It's starting to spread to the unrar and 7za too.

It'll download the files and when it goes to install them they just vanish like it never downloaded them.
I have to go in and add them manually.

&& for a while there it started to give me game guard errors.

The problem with this is I can only fix it if I get the error. Not sure what's causing it =/ Is there anything you did right before it started happening?

It might have broken in one of the last updates, I remember it being stuck on one of the filechecks and having to force it to close. I suppose a reinstall is in order.

I get that.
But the unrar and 7za do the same.
annnnd if the translator thing does that theeeeeeen I'm not playing PSO2.
It messes up the client and game guard. and I get lots of error messages.

What is the gameguard error you got? Sometimes it give me errors too, so I just use the Tweaker's Fix GameGuard Issues function, and problem solved.

it didnt give me a specific error (if it did, I couldn't understand what it said due to my failure of reading kanji).

Done that reporting. A question I should ask though is about my first post. That error I keep getting is it also a result of Norton blocking the software? Or is it a windows problem. I've solved this like this:

1) Download the older version of the tweaker (2.6.6.0) posted on arks layer.

2) Delete the tweaker version 2.6.6.8

It worked perfectly item translation and all and that's the one I am using right now.

I uploaded once again the error.

This is incorrect. I have been using the Tweaker ver 2.6.6.8 and the latest item translation, and it works fine.

Well, its quite obvious by now that its not completely compatible with all computers.
Like I can't have the story patch or else it lags up the game, freezes it and then CRASH.
THEREFORE
It is not incorrect.
There just something weird going on with those who have compatibility issues.

Tweaker v. 2.6.6.7 ran without any errors before when it became 2.6.6.8 that's when my problems started. So, I had to use the older version of tweaker for everything to run again. I'm running Win7 idk what's causing this and how different was tweaker before and after the upgrade

AIDA people think PSO2 Tweaker won't work in Windows XP and it is only for Vista and above users (NOT TRUE).

People have told me tweaker works on Windows XP SP3 with MS .NET Framework 4.

Please put a link on the 1st thread that says:

So for what it's worth I tried using the Gameguard fix option in troubleshoot and it just hangs here.

Getting the same issue. It's really a minor inconvenience because I've seen most of the items and I can recognize them by sight but I'm just wondering what the issue could be. I'm assuming a fix will come eventually now that the problem has been bought to attention. I don't want to shut down Norton and run the files because I don't know how that would affect my computer.

Nah, don't worry. I'm glad you guys brought this to my attention. I'll try moving the files to a different server, maybe norton just doesn't like the fact that it's on copy.com?

Personally I've never bothered with anti virus software. I've had friends and family members use them and still get infected. From everything I've read, all those free AV solutions such as AVG, MSE, Avast, etc are all better than Norton or McAfee.

The best AV solution IMO is you. This is assuming you don't share your PC with friends or family members. Just don't run questionable exes, open random email attachments, or visit shady websites without noscript type addons and you should never have any problems. TBH I'd rather keep a backup image of a clean windows install + drivers + few games and apps and secure erase -> restore it if I did get a virus than try to have an AV program attempt to stop or fix an infection. Especially on my gaming PC.

But when I want to create a new character they are invisible.. it becomes like this:

The last few times I've forgotten to restore it before patching and end up having to redownload 175~ MB instead of just the 30~ MB patch.

I know it's the PC opening video being downloaded because if I run the game afterwards, I click 2 gray screens where nvidia and sega videos should be then the PC opening starts playing.

Ah I'm not the only one. I figured I'd just wait until the update process included restoring any "front page" options like that. Didn't know I should have chimed in sooner to add fuel to the "This needs some luv Aida! Please please please :sad:" bonfire. I figured it was just a matter of time -or a Tweaker 2.0 feature ^^;

Bug report:
-Pressing the 'Check for PSO2 Story Updates' function under the Orb menu sometimes do nothing. Is there any pop-out notice that saying the Story Patch is in latest update?
-Using the Check for PSO2 Updates causes the Tweaker to download the 0kb exe files. Or is it just me? :o

I dunno if this has been suggested or not, but a really awesome feature that would be nice is a window that pops up that says "Are you sure you want to exit the Tweaker?" if you hit the close button while patching.

I accidentally hit the close button instead of minimize due to my cat being a cat and often thinks my hand is some sort of miniature Hydra. >:c

I was just about to post how I got the problem regarding the swapping of the opening videos. I left them swapped before updating and now it doesn't work, saying (UNKNOWN) next to the swap option. I second this request if it would help.

EDIT: Ok, it seems clicking the orb, Troubleshooting and clicking "Check for old/missing files" fixed the swapping/unknown opening problem. You'd also have to close the tweaker and run it again to get "Not Swapped" and "Swapped" to show up properly afterwards. Feels good knowing what to do now.

With the item patch flawlessly going on, i figure it's something alot of us would like to see and use since steam screenshots are a thing for PSO2 players to share their moments on steam.

It did start going really slow for me also. It got up to 21 of 70 files for the story patch, and then it got a red "FAILED" on there. It says to paste the error so this was it

The bottom line of it seems to be that it couldn't find the 22nd item.

After getting the error, I pushed "check for story mode updates/ install story mode patch" again, and it started over from file 1 of 70. Has anyone made it get all 70 things yet or will it always break on #22 ? (it's so slow that it'll be another couple of hours before it gets up to 21 again/I will edit post if it does)

Looks like the program isn't actually reading/writing the files - Are you running it as Admin?

Hi AIDA thanks for replying, I had not been running as admin up until you suggested it. When it prompted to choose what account to run the patch as this time I chose admin and it didn't work.

Do I have to launch the tweaker using 'run as...' admin and then install the English Patch? I always just run the tweaker using the user account (which has full privileges).

Um... thanks for pulling this together for everyone. I'v only recently started playing this after leaving PSU 3 years ago. Everything is working fine for me... there are a few lines in the very beginning of the game during the tutorial that are untranslated but they aren't major.

Hope to see you in game, it's been a long time (PSU's Epitome, I also challenge you to a //versus match at some point if you're the same cast I knew from back then. If not... um.. ;o; wwww).

Not sure if it's been mentioned already, but is the tweaker not compatible with 64-bit Windows now? I ask because my brother's machine has a 64-bit OS installed and every time he loads Tweaker he gets an error message saying that it's not compatible with 64-bit any more.

If you know any way round this I'd appreciate it, or if you need more details let me know.

Minor issue:
I'm gonna make the assumption it might be something to do with my resolution (and I can't test that cause my computer's graphics has a strange way of maintaining the ratio...), but seems the tweaker's window doesn't want to contain everything.

Every single time I keep trying to download the English Story Patch from Arks-Layer as Tweaker tells me because I have no .RAR, Arks-Layer torrent link does not work. Is it down or something? Could someone mirror it for me?

The only thing I can think of is my college blocking any .torrent downloads? Can someone verify this please?

I have installed the latest story patch, updated it and yet it does not work.
i have deleted it and reinstalled the story patch and nothing.

is there another solution except for reinstalling the game and trying again?
the tweaker says that everything is fine.

Just a small issue, but the tweaker isn't saving any changes I make to pso2's options and I'm stuck with a tiny window whenever I launch from your otherwise epic program.

AIDA, i already Fix the Gameguard but still keep getting an error, is there anything can fix it?

I have exactly the same probleme and tried averything that AIDA said but didn't work did you find something ?

Question. Does the story patch currently translate MB13 story quests or not? I know I saw someone say that MB14 was not translated, but I'm not sure about 13 and I'm about to complete 12.

problem solved, i deleted it and reinstalled everything from scratch... 3 hours is quite acceptable haha
