I've been playing FI AQ and the new sanctum TA for a while but I've yet to obtain that sword. Is there some way to increase the chances of its drop rate or something other than using the rare item boosters???

Or maybe break specific parts or that doesn't matter?

Any help would be appreciated.

Oh one question thats slightly off-topic, how can people get money over 100 millions? :P

I believe dragon slayer only comes off from a lvl 56+ quartz and the TA sanctum has a lvl 55 quartz only. Breaking all parts increases chance to get as it increases number of drops.

Dragon Slayer drops in VH sanctum TA, it's in the item records.

Also, good luck trying to hunt specific rares in this game lol. You're better off farming the money and buying the item instead, if there's one in the player shop.

You know, go out of your room, your house, look at the nearest field.

There is 1:10000000 chance that a meteor will fall to that field in the next 30 mins.
There is a lot less chance than that for Dragon Slayer to drop.

And yes, there is one in the item records, seems that guy lives in Russia where meteorite drops a few weeks ago.

Yeah, rares are too rare to hunt. You're better off just buying some cheap rare. If you have a 10* pass, then just grind for the rare you want.

It's a shame. Since there's so little difference between weapons, it would be nice if you could just chose the rares based on how they looked on you. But because of how uncommon they are, there's not much of a point in doing that.

Though... didn't PSU do this? At launch, every rare item was unfindable. Then its expansion came out, and suddenly everyone was swimming in rares. So... maybe just hold out?

Breaking all parts increases chance to get as it increases number of drops.

This is actually false. Each part has their own item drop pool which is separate from the weapons the boss itself can drop. Breaking the parts allows for quartz units having a chance of dropping, not the dragon slayer.

A more accurate description of what happened with PSU was that at launch, certain rare items were ridiculously rare, unobtainable, or just generally a huge pain in the ass to farm. Then we'd have an event which had +10000% drop rates and the market would become saturated with tons of cheap high-end gear.

Many people said that rare drop boost doesn't improve the drop rate for bosses..

Or I'm hearing it wrong?

The rare drop boost granted from a shifta drink won't improve drop rate for a boss if the quest completes before you can break the crystal.

well, if its three/a pair of bosses and you break the crystal before finishing the other boss(es) it will work

lol dragon slayer. Find a needle in a hay stack on your first reach and you have about 1/100th of the luck needed to find one.

So according to this, drop rate increases with more enemies killed? Is there like a cap to this?
