Hey fellow pso2 players

Hey, I'm new to pso2, I was waiting for the english release which obviously is going to take forever so I decided to finally give in and download the japanese version of the game.

I have 1 hour left on the download and I was wondering if the english patch is really needed. Also, I should go in ship 2 block 20 to find english players right?

Aside from that I'm also looking for a few players that would be willing to start a new character and have skype, I need around 4 people to do that. Anyone willing to group up let me know.

I'm 19 if age matters. And I have played around 2000 hours of phantasy star universe, 900 hours of pso 1&2 plus.

Any tips on this game/help is appreciated, I can't wait to play.

Welcome to PSO-W and PSO2!

The English patch isn't needed, but it can help you get used to the menus and assis in navigating options and such. I am currently not using it (lolVita) but it doesn't hurt to have it. Ship 2, block 20 is indeed where plenty of English speaking players reside.

I'm currently unable to make a new character entirely, but I can always reroll as one of my less played classes. I don't mind giving you my Skype username either.

Tips I'd recommend to you are to check out some of the build threads around here and plan accordingly. :)

Make sure to do client orders, they help with the levels. Also helps doing them to level subclasses. Make sure to go with a skill branch in mind for max performance. Unless you want to be an Onion Knight. Onion Knight Power!
