Mag Cells?

Ok, I know what a mag cell is (and i've never found one) but I'm wondering if it's worth it?
Aside from the obvious cosmetic changes does it do anything else to your mag/character?

The MAG gets different abilities, for example if you get a Sato it makes you invulnerable for low hp PB bar full and boss fights.

Sato is a 4th evolution mag, not a mag cell mag.

You will see the Mag cell mags at the bottom of the screen. It shows what they look like and their abilities. Hope that helps.

I have seen Mag Cells go for high level mags, &/or several rare items.
