Those should help you. If you have yet to get your first mag, please view this: http://bumped.org/psublog/phantasy-star-online-2-open-beta-begins-and-mini-guide/#getmags

Being Force as you are, 175 T-ATK. Feed it tech weapons to increase T-ATK and 6* room items to lower dex.
Trimates work to lower dex too, but they're slower.

What?
PD:No, I'm serious, I didn't quite get what are you trying to say.

the amount of feedings of 6 star weapons it takes to gain a lvl is a joke

It's better to have a mag that isn't capped with correct stats than a mag that's capped with incorrect stats, if you ask me.

Indeed. Just be patient with it. If you have stuff to do with your pc but don't want to play, leave the game open and feed your mag every 13 or 39 min, depending if you want to do a single or a full feeding.

Yea. I bought a mag for a pure strike mag two weeks ago and I'm still at level 83.

The energy bar for a mag goes from 0 to 99% in three feeds, and takes around 39 minutes of real time to deplete completely when idle. During quests, your active mag will consume the energy bar to perform trigger or auto actions, so that speeds things up slightly.

Use 6* weapons to raise stats. If you're short on those, the 3*-5* weps that you're likely to pick up while you quest still do the job, and the appropriate decorations to reduce Dex (4* for melee, 5* for ranged, I can't recall) are at the decoration shop. If this is a T-atk mag, use shiftaride, debandride to reduce Dex.

The key is the mag's energy bar going down in real time. Logging off will not deplete the energy bar - that might be one reason why it's taking awhile. Also, the rate of growth is much slower past LV 100, but that should not deter you.
