You have to start Skype before loading PSO2 as for steam and for some other programs as well, look in task manager and kill the running one if you have that issue.

I think Skype hangs in general?

Have you uninstalled skype yet? I know exactly what you're talking about, this was happening to me before I reinstalled my OS. (I had to switch to Win8 x64 sooner or later lol)

I'm not too sure how it occurred but I would just reboot your computer because I don't think you're going to have much luck ending the Skype process including if you tried ending the Process Tree and you would just get denied (this has happened countless times with me and Skype), once rebooted, don't start Skype or anything, uninstall Skype, and delete the registry files using regedit.exe while running as a admin. (ctrl+f skype) Ever since I got that problem, Skype would just constantly be on and off, logging in would work sometimes, and sometimes it wouldn't. I never thought of deleting the Registry files though...

Changing status- nothing happens.

Everything worked 100% more than fine before this unnecessary update T_T

Buy me a shotgun, ak47, a backpack of grenades... and a 1 way ticket to MS-HQ.
It's time for some COD live action!

Have you even restarted PC to see if it fixes it?

its been fixed. Windows 8 wasn't updating it properly. I guess Skype updates through windows updater instead and such. Meh. Had to reformat.
