I hit level 124 in under 100 hours with a sizable about of rares weapons and items found along the way. I am not one to stand around in lobbies and chat. I tend to hop in a game and just start hacking away at enemies for that almighty experience.

My HUnewearl hit 200 in between late January and early February after 699 hours. However, I'm a power leveler. She did tons of forest SoB run. My FOmar, on the other hand, started the same thing until I started trying the Canabin trick. As a result he's currently 199 with about 410 hours.

Just wondering, but what's the canabin trick? I've heard it mentioned before, and I want to know what it is and how it's done... If you wouldn't mind sharing...

Warning: This can bore you in record time if done long enough.

Step 1:
Run through Ult. mines until you reach Canabin ring.

Step 2:
Immediately cast Ryuker within Rafoie range and pipe to P2. Customize Ryuker, and Rafoie. (if needed, go to the shop and buy/drop fluids by the pipe)

Step 3:
Re-enter the pipe, and immediately cast Ryuker again. From the pipe, Rafoie the ring. All 8 Canabins will take damage while the Canune remains unscathed. This is key, because the Canune can make all of the Canabins disappear. As soon as all 8 Canabins are destroyed, quickly pipe back to P2 to restock if necessary, pipe back down, and repeat Step 2.

You're welcome. As you can see, this is most suited to forces though non FO tech users can equip a Rafoie Merge. Droids will have to use damage traps. Unfortunately for them, they'll have to use several traps, thus cutting down the exp yield for them.

GC: completed mat usage level 148 hunewearl in under 225 hours
and just for comparison...
DC: completely maxed level 154 hunewearl in under 450 hours, BA and lobby time included.

You can do some pretty quick power leveling on GC, but it takes 4385 years if you want the right stats. I had to trade for some luck mats... meh... You can usually get any character to level 100 in under 80 hours if you power level.

My HUcast friend tried this just to prove that he could do it. It takes 5 damage traps to kill the Canabine Ring.

Humar lv. 156 about 440 hours. A lot of time spent in lobbys and most of his levels where done online. I know the first thing I did the day PSO came out was go jump in games at level one. It could take more or less than 5. The fire trap damage take more damage with level or something.

Dont bother wasting your time doing these tricks to gain levels. I mean.....whats the point, you have got to be pretty sadmad to sit there for all that time doing the same thing over and over...I refer to the canabin trick. Play PSO with your mates, play whatever stageslevels that you find fun, otherwise your going to get bored FAST.

Seriously, it's one hell of a way to get exp with little work and no risk. 304 x 8 = 2432 exp per pipe, and this is offline. You can even perform the trick while surfing the web or reading a book. All you have to do is learn how many rafoies it takes to kill a ring, and the rest is easy to do just by listening to the sounds. No rares, but then you're only after the exp.

Andy, the whole point of the trick is to power level your way through the massive amounts of exp you need to reach level 200. It is obviously being done at the cost of rares and playing online with friends, so it's not like people don't know its consequences. Look at it this way, when you hit level 180, you're only halfway to level 200 in terms of exp needed. That's something to keep in mind.

Right now my Hunny is sitting at 154, my Ramarl is 134, my Fonewearl is 83 and my Racast is 24. I've been playing my Hunny lately (mainly because she has the mag I'm raising for myself, and I'm too lazy to transfer it).

I think all tricks to level up are boring because they require repetitive actions to achieve good results. The canabin trick is just like the TP trick for rares enemies. They are both to tedious and get boring ultra fast.

The best way in my opinion to gain exp is to raise your character and mag right at lower levels and just clean house through Vhard & Ultimate. It also doesn't hurt to do the Fam Cup a couple times with some friends to gain exp.

Oh yeah, let's not forget that tp tricks will take up a fair bit of your hour count. I know I have logged a lot of hours on my Hunny due to tp tricks...which I've since dispensed with in favor of levelling.

i leveled 148 in an astounding 200 hours i didn't cheat or anything. But for all my chas i make sure that they have a level 200 mag before i start going far. i love ripping through df3 with s&y at level 28!
