Flaming is when you add fuel to the fire, so to speak, or in basic terms, its when you deliberatly wind someone up, by making stupid or petty ( or both)criticisms about that persons post or opinions.

Just what RICH said...

Flaming are comments that make fun of the others statements and or person, because of something the other person finds stupid or doesn't like. Most flames are idiotic, however there are the select few that are trully needed and hilarious. Most of the time it's just people being ignorant though..

Someone once asked me what the definition and "extents" of flaming were.

To sum it up, anything meant offensively against someone or a group of people, is flaming.

Anything can be used as a flame, it can't be defined.
