character dissapeared

im new to pso2 and i made a character and all that then got off for a bit and then when i got back on my character wasnt there and i cant make another one because it says i have to pay. any suggestions?

You're probably selecting the wrong ship. Characters are limited to the ship you make them on, and you can only have one free character at any given time.

is there a way to tell what ship you were on previously? i feel like i prolly seem really foolish to commoners of the game but oh well.

You'll just have to go through each 1 and try logging on I guess.
