Aiming To Be a Top Ra/Hu!

I'm looking to be a Ra/Hu. I'm aiming to do damage somewhere along the lines of this.

Now, I know that I need a new skill tree or reset it. I'm currently working on getting a new mag. My main question is I guess is that what gear should I've be using and what's the ideal stats and PAs. One of teammates told me I should get the Vardha Units for XQs, TA, and AQs and Black Wings set for every day.

Your ranger tree should look something like this. If you want the extra 30 attack from rare mastery, remove a point from Killing Bonus.

If you're after being powerful as can be as your Ranger, the Vardha set is absolute garbage. The PP gains from it are far too low to take seriously, and will constantly have you running out of PP when using Weak Bullet.

For units, I suggest one of the following:

The Falz Unit Sets

リア／エルダーアロア, アーム／エルダーブラゾ, レッグ／エルダーピエデス
リア／エルディヘーテ, アーム／エルディアル, レッグ／エルディガーナ

While you gain 0 S-Def, you get a decent amount of R-Def and T-Def, along with 21 extra PP and 60 to all attacks, making you a lot stronger. Only use this if you're confident you won't take too much damage.

The Black Wing Set

リア／リュクスソワール, アーム／リュクスエンデ, レッグ／リュクスネロ

Now very cheap in the shops (100k~200k per piece), this set will give you a nice 25 PP boost, alongside 50HP and some DEX. It focuses on T-Def, but its S/R-Defs are not terrible.

The Chrome Unit Set

リア／クロームヴェル, アーム／クロームハンズ, レッグ／クロームテイル

Giving less PP than the Wings and Falz Unit Sets (12PP), this set gives you a nice +45 attack boost and a decent amount of HP alongside it (75HP or so). Its defenses are not bad either, although wings have more S-Def. I use this set myself, as I reach 141 PP with it.

Your gear is obviously low-tier right now, but I'm not really sure what I can suggest because I don't know if you can buy 10*s or not.

Weapons

Divulnigel (ディブルニゲル) or Eru Tron (エリュートロン)
These are the pyrox AQ rifles, from trading in Divulcan or the Sanctum Rifle, which are both buyable at the shops.

Lambda Ridultiv (ラムダリドゥルティブ) or Cannon Legacy (キャノンレガシー)
Lambda Ridultiv is the best Launcher your money can buy without 10* passes, but if you can buy 10* weapons, I recommend Cannon Legacy. Both launchers are better with their latent unlocked, as Ridultiv gives JA boost while Cannon Legacy gives WHA boost.

Rouge Coffin (ルージュコフィン)

As a Ranger you should be carrying around a Gunslash for the PAs Additional Bullet, Thrillsplode and Aiming Shot. Rouge Coffin is the easiest gunslash to get, as its not too expensive (300k or so) and is an AQ Pyroxene.

For affixes, try to get at least an attack soul (Fang or Mizer for PP) with Shoot III. If you have the money to use Spirita too, make your weapons 3 slot for even more PP.

First time I ever heard Vardha set was garbage while at the same time praising Chrome set.

You gain 6 PP but lose 90 HP. And it has lower defenses all around than Luxe Soir.

As for Units, I use the Vardha units all the time as a standard, I've never changed units after having them but I'd heard that having Lucky Rise armor helps in AQs, XQ and Falz due to it dropping items such as stones and capsules.

Rifle:

1.Red Rifle - I don't have any of the pryxone stones to trade for a Divulcan or even a Sphere Tron for getting their upgraded counter parts so I'll stick to this rifle for time being. However, it is stronger than the Gloam Rain.

We're talking about Ra/Hu, not Gu/Ra. Please stay on topic. Also, there hasn't been any news about the level cap being increased yet. Please refrain from giving impossible builds.
Traps are still slow, situational and don't do nearly the same damage as using a rifle.

Since you have capped Hunter already, get rid of Gloam Rain as soon as possible.
A Lambda Strauss should do while you don't have stats to equip an AQ rifle.
Between Divulnigel and Eru Tron, I'd recommend Eru. Its potential gives a 10% modifier vs. dragonkin, and while I haven't tested it myself, I've seen TA randoms do more to Ragne with a 50 light element Eru Tron on Ragne than with a lvl 3 potential 50 fire element Divulnigel.

Oh, and if you have the money, try to aim for a Launcher Legacy with at least 30 element. If you don't, Cannon Legacy can suffice, too.

I'd recommend you using Vardha set when you don't know if you can't avoid getting hit, or when you want to ensure you don't die. That is, in XQs or AQs. Though, I personally use the Luxe set all the time, because of my impossibility of getting an elder set. I have 150 PP all the time and I don't miss the attack boost.
Alongside with Ketos Proi and PP restore B (since I didn't get PP restore J), I almost never run out of PP.

Also, there hasn't been any news about the level cap being increased yet.
It was announced a couple~few weeks ago the level cap is going up to 65 in October, but the skill tree would most likely be expanded then anyway, so making builds for "level 65" is not a good idea.

Pretty sure a 30 element Launcher Legacy would do less than 50 element Cannon Legacy. A friend of mine has a 25 element Launcher Legacy and it does 300 less damage. . . This also depends if the OP has premium or not to buy 10*s: Most people don't on here. That's the reason I suggested Lambda Ridultiv.

That also being said, I don't recommend upgrading now. Wait until during the boost week, where I'm sure prices on things will drop (due to higher drop rates and more people playing) and we'll have extra grinding and, maybe, affixing rates. I want the Sanctum Rifle myself but it's probably not all that much stronger unless against Dragonkin, so waiting for next week so it gets cheaper. :L

Because I didn't put it in my other post, here are the PAs you might want:

Rifle: Sneak Shooter, Homing Emission. Others aren't really that useful, but Impact Slider and Diffuse Shell have their uses.
Launcher: Divine Launcher, Cluster Bullet, Rodeo Drive. Crazy Smash is good for getting to JA quicker, and has utility against Crabs and Cyclops in Ruins (as LKA posted in a thread a bit back).
Gunslash: Thrillsplosion, Additional Bullet, Aiming Shot.

Try to get Homing Emission, Cluster Bullet, Rodeo Drive and Additional Bullet to 11+ as soon as you can, as those PAs get great increases after that level.

You need a 32 element Launcher Legacy to exceed a 50 element Cannon Legacy

Cannon Legacy is ~700k
Launcher Legacy is ~30m

But uh, it's still the best launcher in the game until they come out with a 5th Something Legacy

I still have 30% boost affix from the Bingo Card. I have a Strauss for now. 50 Fire Element with Burn III, Stamina I, Shoot I.

As for 10* Weapon passes, I have about 8 (or 7 if i don't use the Ruin Charm for the Ruin Mirage). Two are passes, and the rest are 10* Weapons.

As for gunslash, strongest I can equip is a Jareid (In terms of R-ATK) and Block Bellows (In terms of DEX)
Oh, about premium, I have 1 1-day premium ticket. So, I can use it when I need to. As for 10* Units passes...

Can you use a Lambda Twizzler? I don't know how much R-atk you have since a Jareid requires S-atk to use.
