Did you install the large files or the story patch?

Just run a file check and the problem will be fixed.

Third button on the launcher will fix all of the files. Then if you install a patch again, only use the basic Eng patch till the rest are updated. Trying to install the Story patch/Large files (at the moment) will cause all sorts of game breaking bugs.

Just an fyi, you should avoid installing the Large/Story patchs right away when PSO2 gets a patch. Don't install them till after they've been updated and you'll be alright.

Thanks for the info. I have been working on getting this installed and everything patched etc. for 3days now. Was about to freak when it froze at the character creator. Just curious when you say third option are you talking fix exes, pso permissions or misc/old files?
