Allright, so I just spent 2 1/2 hours going through ruins getting to Vhard Falz, beat the darvants, bet the first form, and the second form using 10 Difluids and 1 trifluid, leaving me 9 trifluids for the last form. I have just under 700 TP, so I wasn't worried about that. However, once I get to the last form, I run to the side, cast Deband, and WHAM!, nice red screen, i cover my face with my hands, realizing that 2 1/2 hours of work is gone.
I had equipped 3 general/HPs and a Resist/Holy beforehand as well.

Help?

Level 57, 305 HP, 695? TP, using a protect Frame, usually use 2 Angel/Minds, and 2 General/Mind++, Secret Gear, and my mag which could use some work. HELP! Lol, really dont feel like wasting that much time again with no results.

Oh btw, the only things I found were about my 7th Last Survivor and my 3rd Visk 235W. Yay.

You need 391 HP to survive his Claw Swipe(DEF doesn't matter on his 3rd form).

Well, the only advice I could give is to just hang in there. Keep hunting like crazy, and try it 5 or even 10 levels down the road. If you were GANKED so easily by Falz, then it's kinda obvious that you're not ready to progress, especially seeing as how Ultimate FOREST can be harder than V Hard Falz at times. Sorry to lay down a wad o' truth on ya like that, but it's the best advice I can give...

HUNTHUNTHUNTHUNTHUNTHUNTHUNTHUNT!!! I was lvl 70 before I killed Falz with my HUnewearl and it took me 5 scape dolls to do it! No worries http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Happy HUNTing!! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

(not really)

Also, if it's tactics for Falz you're asking about then here ya go:

You prob know the drill for forms 1 and 2, it's kid's stuff. But in form 3, only when in his prismatic form can he be hurt by magic and only in solid can he be hurt by physical. He is really weak (so I hear) to Grants, so go hunt for nice lvl 15+ grants disks in V Hard Ruins. I'm sure you prob know already, but try not to get hit by the blue things he shits out or his rending claw of instant death. The Grants is impossible to dodge so just boost your light resistance and suck it up, soldier! Carry lots of Scape dolls if you REALLY had your mind set on getting into ultimate at your level, otherwise the V Hard Ruins is an excellent hunting spot because of the sheer numbers that enemies come in.

The grass is always greener on the other side though http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Right. Team Avalanche, too much final fantasy 7?

Anyway.
First, he can always be hurt by magic, wether he's in his "prismatic" form or not.
Second, While he's weak to grants its easier at that level to have a decent foie which will most likely do more damage since casting speeds for foie is lower.
Third, finding lvl 15+ disks in Very hard is impossible. The highest you could find is 15.

Also, if you keep your hp maxed ( Resta after each attack ) You wont need any scape dolls. I did it at lvl 61 with no problems at all. ( No deaths, no hp materials used. Just 2-3 HP units ).

You'll need to get your HP up. There is no other way to survive this slash attack. There is a solution to your fluid problem though. If you find yourself running out of fluids during a certain boss fight, unequip your mag, and start the warp. Drop all the fluids you have, then die. Repeat until you feel you have enough fluids. Then, re-equip your mag and start the warp again.

The reason you unequip you mag is because each time you die, your mag loses 5% Synchro.

Even for forces on very hard, it's wise to carry a handgun with % on dark and hit. This could be your means of main attack (well... on v2, it was for my forces). Don't worry about mind and change the units for hp units... general/hp (with + or ++ is best), usually?

If you have a hunter before the force, it might be a good idea to use multiplayer to transfer mags for a while. ^_^

Want to explain why a force should carry a gun as well? I dont fully understand the reason. Maybe at low level foie the range is longer on a handgun, but not sure.

Against Dark Falz, a handgun (such as a varista) would save on TP against Darvants (though you could use grants or rabarta on them) and on his main forms. Remember, this is VH and not Ultimate mode. Levels are lower, so...

Hmm, i see.

Well the darvants dont bother seeing as you can get around them with a simple trick.

Make sure you use Razonde, then stand between two of the heads as close to him as possible. ( Almost wedged in ) Keep casting Razonde and he'll die easily. Thing is the darvants cant reach the corner in it by in inch. But when he starts to move it gets annoying.

I know you can also do this by getting stuck behind him, but it has never worked for me.

Ty Galith, for correcting me. Not really a force char so Excuse my ignorance and misinfo http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif (sincerely)

If you plan on going melee in the slightest, always pick a fast weapon for his 3rd form. He moves a lot http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

I'm level 58, and I actually found a lvl 15 Foie in ruins awhile back. So I can kill him, I just need to live. I heard you need exactly 391 HP to survive the cla attack, since it's a fixed damage. Can anyone confirm?

Thx to ev1 for the advice so far!

Yeah, that sounds about right.

Though with my force at lvl 62, he had around 455ish hp and his claw attack took him to 9 hp everytime. Grants however only took me to 100-150ish.

Either way, if you can resta the fight should be a breeze ( especially with a level 15 foie, i think i had like level 13 or so ). You can equip a Club of Zamurian ( sp? ) if you want Foie to do more btw.
