http://www.rpgclassics.com/staff/tenchimaru/td.gif I found a Branch of Paku Paku back when I just started hard mode from a random Al Rappy. Now, since I'm almost able to equip it, I took it out of storage and actually checked out it's paramaters.

95% proton efficiency against Dark.

Damn, that got me blinking for a few minutes. Since I'm usually not so lucky, is there any known bug in the game which can dramatically increase the PE like that? Because if I accidently modded this thing in some way, I want to get rid of it.

Oh, and this might have something to do with it. I'm 10 MST short, so I equipped a Fire Staff: AGNI to raise my MST so I was able to equip it. Then, I equipped the branch of Paku Paku, so I had it equipped without meeting the requirements.

Any thoughts on what happened?

you just got veeeeery lucky i'd say ^_^
% can go up to 100 in v3, but high percentages are really rare outside of c-mode.

I've seen 100% photon efficiency for Dark. But it was on a DB's Saber (whoop de doo).
