Friend not getting window to input friend ID

So I’m trying to get a friend invite thing going… but my friend isn't getting the window to put in my ID code.

It should show up when you go to make a character.

Does he have to make the character first? It didn't pop up at all.

I don't think so, it should be a window that shows up when you attempt to create a character IIRC. If you cancel it out once you don't see it again, and I'm not sure if you can refer someone after that happens. Is it possible he's done that?

Hrm. He says he didn't see it at all. I guess we'll just have to make a new account for him.
