JP PSO2 Cant see what Im doing in Character creation

I can click on the options to customize my character but it doesn't actually show me anything. It's just a blank space where I'm assuming my character in progress should be. Any help is greatly appreciated!!! Thank you!!

most likely you've applied an outdated english story patch (don't think there is yet an up to date one), you need to run a filecheck to fix it, third option in the game launcher
