What's with the current meta considered the best subclass for a Ranger?
And what for a Gunner?
Can you explain me why you believe that subclass is better than another?

I'm so 2014 and I'm going RA/HU with my new character. I'm having fun but I also love to get some knowledge from the experienced players.

For Ranger, the best subclass seems to be Hunter, because of the very consistent damage modifier from JA Bonus and Fury Stance skills that isn't worse than what you'd get from Braver, coupled with great defensive skills that will keep even the biggest scrub alive and Massive Hunter (which is now a ring).

For Gunner, Ranger is the best subclass because of the gigantic damage bonus from Weak Heat Advance and Standing Snipe, great PP recovery provided by traps and Gravity Bomb being a bit of help when dealing with mobs. You will also be able to substitute for a WB slave if the entire MPA all reckon that somebody else will choose Ranger and just go with their favorite DPS class.

Ra/Gu is pretty bad imo considering that Gu doesn't bring that much as a sub besides chain trigger and atk pp restorate

Gunner is one of those classes that has a lot of great main-class skills, but doesn't give much even to its R-Atk friends.

Zero Range Advance is an okay damage modifier, but it isn't exactly easy to put to use with rifle and launcher, especially when their best PAs are better done from a distance. PAs on those weapons don't give any super armor, either, so you sure wish you had something like Massive Hunter when doing them up close (which will be an option soon, oh boy). But if we're theorizing about rings, you'd probably still want a Hunter sub tree with a Perfect Keeper ring instead.

But still, right now, Satellite Cannon, End Attract, Cluster Bullet and Divine Launcher are all better at Sharpshooter distance, where you don't risk getting flinched.

Other good skills Gunner has to offer to Ranger are the same three that it offers to anyone else: Chain Trigger, Perfect Keeper, Attack PP Restorate. ZRA and PK combined give a better total damage modifier than Hunter's skills, but they don't help the actually good attacks that Ranger has. CT is not the easiest to use, especially with WB active, and Ranger's weapons don't have their own Satellite Aim that can easily go from building up chain count to dealing a massive burst of damage. APPR is a good skill, but PP isn't that much of an issue with traps, Killing Bonus, Orbit and the upcoming PP Convert ring.

EDIT: Never mind, counted it wrong. Gunner gives the same damage bonus as Hunter (even lower if you use Fury Combo), but is a huge pain in the ass to use in comparison.

Short version: Ra/Gu is bad.

R-ATK passives aren't the best thing to put points into. If you ditch ZRA in a Gunner tree, you are left with 180 R-ATK, which can make around 10% difference, since it counts as a base stat. But you are still left with a class with a consistent damage bonus that's only half as big as what you'd get from Hunter.

Your example better not be something done on a chain above 10, because that's how much damage Gunner does per single hit on a quick chain without WB.

What stat do you want more ...... and more comfortable with?

Saiki (+60 Atk +25 PP) : +50 HP each. Craft them to +10 PP each if you want very high PP.
Brisa (+70 Atk +80 HP +5 PP) : +40 HP +5 PP each.
DragonEx's 3rd unit (+70 Atk +160 HP) : +40 HP +2 PP each, you can also craft them to your liking. Default is pretty nice too.
XQ Units set (+90 Atk) : Craft it with +100 HP or +10 PP each to your liking.
Kaizer (+90 Atk) : 2 parts Rear-Arm (from BonusQuest - Gold), give +15 PP each, free leg unit.
Saiha (+90 Atk) : 2 parts Rear-Leg (from BonusQuest - Gold), give +150 HP each, free arm unit (you can use Ideal arm unit if you're using Ideal. No point if you're using Austere). But at least you can freely choose your arm.

I personally went with XQ atm (all crafted for HP) ..... though I'd lean to Kaizer if I have the money (then craft it for HP). Since I also use it with my Fi-main, so I can use the Orbit's leg unit too. It also gave +90 Atk, a tiny bit of boost to attack compared to Saiki if you don't mind lower PP.

Collect 20 UNIQUE 7~9★ Hunter weapons to get a +2.5% damage title as a Hunter main (you can't buy them from MyShop, have to either drop the weapons or get them from the stone shop).

There are 4 titles per class:

Title1 : 20 7~9★ weapons →(+2.5% damage)
Title2 : 25 10~12★ weapons →(+2.5% damage)
Title3 : 40 10~12★ weapons →(+2.5% damage)
Title4 : 70 10~12★ weapons →(+2.5% damage)

So +10% damage as a Hunter main if you get the 4 Hunter titles.

With the release of Ep.4, you must now complete Ep.1 and 2 to unlock 3.

You dont anymore, You have to progress through matterboard 1 through 3 to unlock it, This was changed with all episode 4 made characters

Trying to get 20 quick profound calugia fragments. Apparently one of the title rewards nets you 20. Can someone explain what the goal for this title counter reward is? It's under player and bosses I think

Edit: There isn't a title that gives 20 Caligulas. There are rewards that give 5,15, and 30 Caligulas for completing the Profound Darkness EQ 1, 10, and 30 times.

You can trade in 2016 Weapons Badges from the LQ and EQ for Caligulas, 20 Gold for 1. On XH with 250% RDR and 50% Triboost, you can average about that many per run of the LQ.

Nothing really just a level 100 pet, you'll get a white flash indicating that your pet has been "limit breaked".

Thinking about making a fighter character, but i am used to braver, how do they fair vs a braver, or hunter for that matter (not very interested in hunter at all outside a sub) Damage wise. they look fun, i just want to know if it's worth bothering with it.

Yes, extended units all share the same defense stats that only change with the recipe's level.

Because Hairstyles, Head Parts, and Voice Tickets can be used on Support Partners. If I recall correctly, Pre-Ep.2 it would blank out unusable tickets for your race/gender, but since you can make, say, a Male CAST Support Partner on a Female Newman, they are flagged as usable. Why they haven't added a filter for gender specific heads and hairstyles is beyond me.

The Blitz set is pretty good until you can get something better; it has a Set Bonus of +60 S-/R-ATK and +10PP, and it is only two pieces [(リア／ブリッツシンボル) Rear/Blitz Symbol and (アーム／ブリッツサイン) Arm/Blitz Sign, which uncrafted have an innate +30HP and +3PP each], so you can use a Leg Unit that has the stats you want, like a Leg/Ing Plate (or any HP crafted Leg unit) for +100HP.

1.20*1.1 = 1.32. If we also count the actual elemental weakness, it's 1.584. Critical modifier adds a little more to the number.

Consider this: using a non-matching element DB, on a non-breakable part with Break Stance and Break SD Bonus, the max multiplier you can get (discounting other stances and criticals) is 115.75%. By matching elements, you get a damage bonus just from matching elemental weakness, on top of what you get from Elemental Stance and Elemental Stance Up.

Do it in under 4 minutes (so, have more than 6 minutes left) for the full reward. Maybe eat an EXP ticket after the tanks for the first Tagami. But it's just a straightforward mop-up, so there's nothing special to do.

AQ has a high chance of bursting, so you want to get one PSE burst on each map. It doesn't need to be the motherlord of all PSE bursts in existence, just a nice little one will do.
If you can't get a real party to do AQ, just bring bots.
Also noteworthy, you can do a Risk+50 run from the getgo if you have 51 caps of A, B or C. Just be sure you can actually clear it and the +50 will stick for a while. (7 days I think)

It's just a score ranking to show your performance during the run, nothing else. (For TD)

It may or may not be accurate depending though, since you get points for getting the first and last hits on things. For example in an organised MPA it can just be ignored, but the ranking in PUGs is usually pretty accurate.

And A Rank+ for keys in recommended quests.

I think difficulty doesn't affect key rate, so far i always getting gold key from normal difficulty.

For rank, dont really know if it affect key rate, but my friend said that at least you should clear it with A rank or S rank.

My current one is telling me to go the quest lady at the desk.. but not sure what quest/what it's asking me to do. Did a capture rappy quest (randomly) That's not what it wanted me to do.. >.<

I was just listing Free Fields since those are what he mentioned. However, if we are talking about unique, multi-tile maps (thus excluding maps like XQs and TDs), Mothership I'll give you, and I should include City with Episode 1, though I'm not sure I would include the Ultimate areas since they are really just reskins of Forest and Tunnels with practically identical tiles, but whatever. Either way, if we look at the Field to Days ratio, my point still stands that the release of fields has slowed.

Tokyo was just added a couple months ago. Lilipa and Vopar got their third field an entire episode after the respective planets were introduced.

New AQs are possible if it turns out that Yamato equipment sets a new bar for player gear, but it's just as likely that they'll add another bonus quest for it.

When you craft a weapon, it loses its innate variance reduction [uncrafted 7*+ weapons have a difference of only 10% between their lowest possible damage and their critical damage], so there is a large gap between its minimum possible damage and its critical damage, but once you craft it to an EX level where you use Silva type materials in the craft [for 7*-9* weapons, it's when you get to EX9], that gap gets significantly smaller [though never to the point of an uncrafted weapon].

I believe it's an ark road thingy? Not entirely sure, it's where those badges pop up on your screen after taking client orders. My next one is flashing above Rebecca the mission counter lady, she's not listed in the client orders at all, I haven't accepted/done anything with her yet.

Nothing with her yet, previous quest was (well back 2-3, I believe there was visiting shops in between) But the one I remember was introduction to partner cards. Haven't seen anything lit up in Rebbecca's menu saying this is what I need to do.. Maybe it was a tutorial to play with people, because I don't see any quest highlighted like I need to do any of them.

At least I can reliably farm Gold Badges for those stones.Seasonal EQs these days seem to always spawn Hunar-form Dark Falz a lot. If you keep on doing those, you'll eventually have too many Nero stones. When Profound Darkness first came, everyone was scrapped for Nero stones, but now I have like 400 Nero stones sitting in storage doing nothing until I get enough Caligula for by 4th Austere trade-in.
LQs seem pretty decent for Nero stones, too. Or at least the facility one, since I haven't done much of the latest forest one. But nothing comes close to how good the last Christmas EQ was for Nero stones, though.

That aside, I would say Orbit TMG is overall better than Austere TMG. For raw damage, it's always Austere, but Orbit only does roughly 2% less, yet the PP regen from Orbit is so amazing that it makes up for it and then some.

There might be a slowdown in campaigns now since they actually give out Ragol Memories as a prize for playing the AC Scratch multiple times (You get 3 for drawing 6 Gold Scratches).

Looks like it's once per AC Scratch, and the number and type of scratch you need to do varies. I think you can still get another two from the previous scratch (Street Style Snap) by pulling five 200AC scratches and two Gold scratches. Bumped has the conditions for the Bonus Scratch at the bottom of their individual Scratch posts (at the bottom of the AC selection, just above the FUN selection).

That aside, I would say Orbit TMG is overall better than Austere TMG. For raw damage, it's always Austere, but Orbit only does roughly 2% less, yet the PP regen from Orbit is so amazing that it makes up for it and then some.

After 30day of not logging in PSO2es, that storage turn off. I personnly already log daily for the free 1st Quick Search feature for ult nab/lillipa stone (mostly the later). Also sitting on a bunch of 3s soul receptor 10* units from those. Extra fun and 15k exp tickets also a nice bonus.

Trade 10-11* into photon sphere => Trade for 75% exp ticket => Start running VHAQ 50+ risk solo. You can still gain decent amount exp even if solo (aka 1 player + 3 AI).

Seeing Naska's recommendation on Dive Roll Shoot, yea, you should take this skill, it makes rifle and launcher gameplay more fluid, plus another means of PP recovery for TMg in case u Dive Roll or something lol. PB Weakhit Blast is okay too since it's decent bonus for just 1 point investment. Dive Roll Keep Shoot, u can choose to take it (that means 1 less point into Killing Bonus) or not, since sometimes Dive Roll WBing is needed (and looks cool too xD )

That's false information.

They said that if someone did ALL the N, H, VH and SH TACOs in one run, they'd get only 70% of their original income.

Since other TACOs will get an increase in reward, there shouldn't be too much of a difference for people who only did VH / SH TACOs IIRC.

If you just want the COs to be done; just keep doing the early floors (1-5 is a good example) if the level 70 enemy ones are too tough.

I'm a FI/HU who Limit Break and tank hits with ~500HP. I don't know why you have 1100 HP but cannot solo XQ with an Automate/Massive Hunter build.

So I had a few questions pop up with the introduction of the skill rings as I'm curious about how some things work.

Say you main fighter and you are running a Perfect Keeper ring. You hit limit break- does this remove the bonus you get from P Keeper, or do you still maintain it since your HP is still technically "100%"?

Another scenario, same as above except using the PP Convert ring- If you use both PP Convert and Limit Break, how much hp will you be sitting at? would it be 25% x 70% ?

Since Limit Break activates Halfline slayer and Deadline Slayer, which requires your HP to be below 50% and 25%, I'm going to assume that Perfect Keeper will not work with limit break.

You might consider it weird but Limit Break does work with abilities like Perfect Keeper.
The reduced HP will be reevaluated as the new 100% HP line, and say you have 250 HP after LB, PK is active as long as you have above 188 HP.
This also happens with Dagger of Serafi's Potential

I've been getting mixed reports about the Orbit talis, some people say that pp revive is halted by the first potential - others say that pp revive doesn't count as "natural pp regeneration" and works anyway.

I'd be very grateful if someone could answer for certain based on their own experience whether pp revive (pp recovering while charging techs) is halted or not using when the first potential.
