When you kill an enemy within a certain range, you will recover a set amount of PP (1PP per enemy at lV1, 5PP per enemy at LV20). The range itself is pretty small, but it works well with close range weapons.

Which videos? I don't recall there ever being an indication for PP recovery aside from the PP bar itself. (I have used both the actual RA skill and the ring)

Bow is a Braver weapon. Braver must be either your main or subclass to be able to use the PAs (with the exception of a few weapons, like Edel Io, which have innate PAs that can be used by any class).

I knew all this but the 3 didn't appear in the pool for some reason. Turns out you can't use souls that aren't exploration bosses. I tried vibrace and it didn't count although the simulator says different.

Well, if you ask me, it's better to not 'evolve' Toh'oh Soul into its variants if what you did is making Toh'oh fodders.
Probably better to keep Toh'oh Soul as it is on fodder, then changed it on the desired weapon.

As for the easiest soul to 'transform' Toh'oh Soul........well Quartz Soul's supply is relative plenty in the market and highly accessible atm.

The last big update ended up causing a bunch of lag and 630 issues for a lot of people - there was an emergency maint to fix that (and there was an issue where some successful grinds were going up by +2 instead of +1, I dare say that fix got snuck in there too). I dare say this lag's probably just a leftover of that issue - I'm getting it too.

The next proper graphics update is on 20/04, maybe things will change then.

How do I do this? My cast is currently default in the body shape department, but the settings confuse me, and I can't seem to find the right balance. Also, is it normal for the cast head to not match up with the body when resized? I don't want a tiny head.

It might be easier to provide a .mcp file, or at least some screenshots of what your current settings are.
As for the head, you can increase the size of it using the new neck girth slider (using the top/bottom will increase/decrease the size of the head, while the sides control the length and thickness of the neck), but if you are using a fleshie face, you will need to make some adjustments to facial feature placement.

It's basically JG but you use RMB instead of Shift button.

Low level ring has very shitty duration, extend it's level to extend active duration of parry.
IIRC level 1 ring duration only last for 0,03s, while level 20 last for 0,60s.

Guessing it must be the lack of time then because I fail to see what else I'm missing. Anyway, I might as well get that ring to Lv20 since I got my P Keeper Tech ring at Lv11 and there's no other useful Left rings for a Fo/Te besides Tech C Parrying.

Based on the description, it says, "Ring EXP is awarded with Enemy Kills." I'm killing countless of enemies in various areas and my Lv.1 Frontal S-Roll Ring didn't gain anything once so ever. On the contrary, my Lv.2 Boost Slayer Ring gained a bit of experience.

What am I doing wrong? Am I suppose to kill specific enemies from select areas or something? Or it is suppose to be this painfully boring and tedious to level up?

I'm just surprised the supply is so low, because you're right, they drop from pretty much anything. Then again you can technically find 4s stat IIIs from anything too. I guess they just aren't common enough to compare to the demand.

Maestro Summoner is the first scratch with layered wear. Just copy and paste the names to see how they look on your character (and see how ridiculously expensive some of them are).

The nerf made the HP recovery extremely lackluster. In my opinion, you are better off getting a weapon that has a damage potential and mastering dodging to make full use of GU's TMG Gear and Showtime line of skills.

Bosses, especially rare bosses give higher % to roll for your desired weapon. That's the reason why there're Trigger mpa.

There's this "Summoner" I keep hearing about.

Summoner is one of the oddest class around. Your weapon is a tact and the "true" weapons are the pets which you equipped.

Instead of grinding your weapon, you raise the level of your pet. The pet's rarity determines the level cap, so higher level pet means higher level cap which means more damage. Instead of weapon rarity, pet rarity is their own version of "stars".

Because there's no stat requirement to "equip" pets, a lv.1 summoner could theoretically wield 10 star+ pets, even 9 star pets off the bat, which means steam rolling lower difficulties and leveling up pretty fast.

Now, instead of affixing "weapons" you have a candy box, which is basically a board, filled with slots, and you basically play jigsaw puzzles to put in certain candies that boost pet's abilities like affixes.

The most important part about summoner is the combat.

You basically walk/stand around and just send your pet to attack. The closest thing is basically the talis weapon, where you throw it and you activate PA from a distance, but unlike a talis, the pet doesn't need to be thrown and merely point and send the PA. You have to watch the pet's positioning and yourself to ensure you won't get screwed over?

In terms of scaling? Monstorous in low level difficulties. Anything Very Hard and below, with even just a simple 9 star pet you get from the shop and no candies, you steam roll everything. When I mean everything, I mean everything. It is a class that with a good pet and rarity, at lv.35, you can even deal TRIPLE digit damage (like 120,000 or more) with a good trim shout + fully charged trim spiral with Focus on the stunned enemy.

However in higher difficulty such as SH, XH, and Ultimate, you'll start yearning for higher pet rarity and a well set of candy boxes. Pets also start dying like a mofo, so you'll start need to get multiple high level pets and switch them out as you fight.

The thing is, although they have massive gross damage that trashes lower level difficulties, the damage they carry is pretty static, so without a good candy box and good pet levels, multiple pets, and rarity, they become a lackluster class come higher difficulties to the point that if you're unprepared, you become the biggest burden.

However with proper gear, your pet damage and survivability is one of the best. A well thrown exploding melon/maron or even a good trim combo can deal a gross amount of triple digits (My Maron, 12 star can explode like 400k damage). However that's only if you invest.

If you plan to start summoner, it's best to do Ultimate Lilipa/Nab and get the 10 star+ eggs and raise it on another lv.75 class, so when you start summoner, you'll have a basic enough pets to zoom the leveling process.

It's better to start with 7☆ pets, since they drop like candy (literally), and you can have them with an element you want, and have easier time adjusting their personalities later when you decide to increase their rarity.

There's only two shells in the gathering system, and only one is found on Vopar.

Saving Gear is only useful for swords, since other weapons save the gear indefintely to begin with. (unless you change weapon type)

The Gear Save ring reduces how much of the gauge your wired lance and partisan arts use so if the ring is leveled high enough to make enough of an impact, you can complete more combos before having to refill. The most obvious use is a Lv 20 ring will let you get two full Vol Graptor combos out of a full gauge before needing to refill.

It decreases gear consumption in general, so actually it does work for the other weapons. If you have hunter gear boost it's not as useful for partisan though.

I have no issue using the official launcher myself... But I'm the only one out of my friends who's good enough in Japanese for that. The rest don't know a lick. For me, at least, running with the official launcher triggers a file check that removes the patch completely. AND, as I'm about to double-check, should deny me from signing in without a VPN...

What I mean is that I don't mind using the official launcher. I'll give it a shot right now, and if I am allowed to sign in and the game doesn't randomly crash without warning, I will be delighted and shocked.

Does Profound darkness and double count as darkers? If my weapon has a potential that does more damage to darkers, will it affect profound darkness and double?

Double counts as a plain darker.
Profound Darkness counts as an aberration darker.

A potential that is meant to increase extra damage to Darkers will not apply to Profound Darkness, but it will against Double.
Weapons that work against only aberration Darkers will not apply to regular Darkers. The Coat Doublis is an example of a weapon with such a potential.

This would be a nice guess if they hadn't abandoned Ult. Why do you think you can get Ult crystals in like 4 or 5 different ways besides playing Ult Quests?

Open up Task Manager.
Go to the Services tab.
Find TabletInputServices under Name (Description is "Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service".)
Right-Click -> Stop

Do this before starting up the game. Sometimes this starts up again after the computer goes idle so you'll have to make sure it's off before starting the game every time. I've never had it restart itself while I was playing, though.

Kill all Darker on the first area. If you get it right, the next area should have one infected Dragonkin as EC. And changed chapter title.

iirc, At most (with shifta and the skill maxed) you get like 2% more attack, it's not worth it.

EDIT: I did the math, and remembered how shifta's numbers work wrong, it's 4.9% more attack than base shifta with both maxed. There are still better options.

Found クオツケアン. Would it be better to just go with that or go for a material trade wand like orbit or whatever? Pretty much anything that isn't Austere 'cause I don't have the stones for that and if I were to go for an Austere, it wouldn't be a wand.

Would pretty much just be for melee + a little sazan here and there 'cause I'm a spoiled fire fo who can't stand waiting for techs to charge.
Use Quartz Light or Fire, if you do orbit use it for Battery reasons, its not worth using for its 2nd pot. It's either Austere or Quartz, Quartz being your best bet

Hi, currently playing hu/fi and I'm using a nemesis sword that dropped off diabo during valentine EQ.
my nemesis sword is not grinded and not affixed either, and has 36 light element.
I have enough stones to buy an orbit sword, and can probably grind it and unlock it's potential.
Would that be a good idea, or should I just stick with my nemesis sword for now?

There should be an option to switch between EP1～3 and EP4 at the character selection screen.
If you're already in EP1～3 mode, Xao (and maybe Xion) should let you choose a specific MB to activate.

EDIT: I just checked with a new character, and it looks like they removed the option to directly jump to EP3.
