I created 7th char ~week ago or so. made it 75/75 already. but cant switch from ep1 to ep2 or ep3, so cant take COs for compound techs ;-; i thought before we could switch between EPs?
They removed ability to jump from EP1 to EP3 when EP4 patch kick in.
This change won't affect any character who already possess EP3 board on them.

Don't worry though, EP4 let you purchase compound teches on photon shop for 50 photon sphere each.

I don't know if its the recent lag that influenced it or what, but my most recent run of PD lasted 40 minutes. It was torture. None of my recent runs have been close to this bad, but they've all taken longer than usual, to the point where I actually have to worry about the Persona segment. If you mean for character inventory (5 tickets for 1600AC), they took it out of the regular AC shop lineup with the release of Ep.4 and it seems it will only show up as a limited time item (as it did during the first week of Ep.4).

I'm a newbie, so, sorry in advance for the dumb question, but I don't get what's so good about ELysion (unless I'm using it wrong). A charged technique causes a 5,000 output damage; using Elysion, the same uncharged technique causes 1,000 output damage. (in the skill tree, normal tech advance is full). So, what is the advantage of Elysion?

The thing with Elysion is you have to unlock it's potential. Once you've gotten it to +10, go to the potential menu at Dudu/Monika and unlock it.
The potential you unlock makes uncharged techs stronger.
You have to do it several times. (3 times at most)
Once you did it 3 times, uncharged techs will be as strong as charged techs. (if I remember correctly)

I am not completely sure what you are asking, but I will try answering anyways: a friend will not appear in any Friend Partner list until they register one of their characters as a Friend Partner.

There was a time where you could get the Standing Snipe and the Moving Snipe bonuses at the same time, but Sega has since fixed that.

If you are only planning on upgrading your inventory to 100 (rather than the full 150), I would say that to just go ahead and buy 5 inventory expansion tickets at their normal price (especially since there is no way of knowing when they will bother to put the 1600AC bundle up); the extra 150AC you would be spending is, in my opinion, worth it since it is a permanent upgrade to your inventory capacity. Doing that would leave you short 150AC for premium, but you could always just get 4 inventory expansion tickets and 30-day premium and have 200AC left over (maybe for a single AC scratch).

Elysion's potential, Innocent Appearance, boosts uncharged tech damage by 70% at lv3.
There are some techs that do half damage uncharged like Sazan, Sazonde, Ilbarta... These techs (and Namegid) with Innocent Appearance result in nice DPS.

Though Elysion is really weak by today standard unless maining Techer. You may want エンジュリーミスティー (Angely Misty) instead.

If you're specifically talking about npc clones, then I can take a guess.

I have a clone myself and I often get friend invites from random passerbys. I usually end up declining them if 1) I don't know them already or 2) they're fellow npc clones themselves.
Explaining your reason helps but it's likely that they already get enough invites to turn most of them down automatically.

Maybe it'll help if you leave a whisper but some might consider that annoying... ^^;

Occasionally the game derps and you get to the flower area before the cutscene or even the ranking screen. Or the crystal appears on the shuttle itself.

But really, I hate those assholes that break the crystal ASAP in a 1 off EQ. It makes sense in something like Magatsu were time is short, but there is no rush whatsoever eafter PD died (or Luther for that matter).
Breaking the crystal before anyone has a chance to use boosters and sometimes even before equipping an LR III weapon is just a massive dickmove for no reason.
Several times they broke it so fast even when using the macro for my weapon palette the moment I see the exp numbers pop up, I wasn't fast enough.

Boost week. Leechers/people with sub-par equip forcing themselves to compete in the quest difficulties beyond their capabilities. Already happened on this week's Demise, UQ, and now it's PD turn.

I must have been pretty lucky because I had a few PUG multis where we ranked ~7th-12th and other places in the top 100.

A few runs were bad because 2 people kept intentionally leaving immediately on every restart, and everyone else was a weak EN or something.
It's annoying because they usually have good gear.

Are you sending friend requests with the default message? (Let's become friends!/フレンドになりましょう！)
If so, most JPs will decline requests like that. It's common etiquette among the JPs to say something to the person before adding (this can be done through the request message, depending on the person.)
And doubly so if you're sending it with the default english patch message. I see a lot of JPs that have "sorry, I won't accept requests with non-japanese messages" in their FP descriptions.

I don't know about foreigners but I assume it might be something similar. I personally always decline requests with default message in case the person added me by mistake. I used to accept any request, but most people that sent requests with default message never used my FP again.


Edit: I dug through the last few pages and found the original inquiry. It might be because you're using machine translated japanese which the japanese might not understand.
I'm not too confident in my japanese to give a better stock phrase... ^^;

My FP never has Zondeel. I hate when FPs have it so I make sure to take it out when I update it.

Never been ~7-12 but I've been about 30th, which is alright. I'm more concerned about getting them Cali's more than rankings, though. I didn't hit any 'bad' runs during boost week, but the lag in that last one was a real killer.

I was on leave during boost week (coincidentally- I didn't actually know it was boost week until long after I'd booked it), and looking at the EQ schedule for this upcoming week, it made me realise how lucky we were with the PDs during boost week. There's only one scheduled over Easter- all the rest are during normal working hours, meaning I'll be missing them.

My timezone's only two hours ahead of Japan too (will only be one hour at Easter), so it's not because I'm playing from the Moon or anything. I have to wonder why Sega have scheduled them like that, and I wish they'd do it a little different.

When adding 30 ATK to units/weapons is that a 1% gain in power in all ATK total circumstances ( so if you've got 1000[970-30] ATK it is still a 1% gain, and if you've
got 3000[2970-30] ATK it is still a 1% gain) and at whatever level you are (lvl 10, lvl 75) ?

It's just a very rough estimate on the difference stat points make in the current state of the game. It is not always 1%, and 30 points in affixes, 30 points in base stats and 30 points in weapon's stats all make a different amount of an impact.

It's meant to simplify things for people who don't want to deal with the expanded damage formula.

You can buy the Skill Tree Resets from the class counter itself, it is one of the options with the ARKS Cash symbol next to it (red triangle with an A in it). Additionally, they give out All Skill Tree Resets for free when there are Skill Tree modifications (though, it's anyone's guess when the next one will be).
Halfdolls are primarily obtained from log in stamps, though some campaigns do give them out. In this game, full Scapedolls are AC only items, and honestly, there is no real need for them since there is no real penalty to just going back up to the campship when you die (unless you are running a TA).

You'll need additional skill tree pass, or skill tree reset pass.
These can be bought using AC, though they distribute all skill tree reset pass on occasion when they make some adjustments to certain skills.

Halfdoll are obtainable from various campaign and login stamp.
Scapedoll are strictly obtainable via AC-only.

I actually am a solo player (soloer? soloist? solister?) myself as well, and have never had any need or desire to buy a Scapedoll. Also, given enough time, you'll end up having more than enough Halfdolls; I always have about 30 in my storage. Sure it's frustrating to die on a boss, but I think slogging through a mission again is better than spending ~$1 for a revival (though, I guess losing the parallel area can suck).
Yeah, Premium basically just acts like a subscription since it just gives you expanded benefits (more CO space, full room and shop access, ability to trade in for weapon passes, higher daily FUN cap, double log-in stamps). As to why they locked reallocating SP behind a separate AC charge, keep in mind that there are very few things that they can get people to impulse buy in this game besides AC Scratches.

I got blues from trading in my room/shop passes but that's it.

Can you not convert any of these and sega just lazily thre unrelated badges into the same shops, recycling menus from other badge shops?

But after looking at the R-ATK on a (10+) Slave Feather which is 1.7k something, would I do more damage overall (including other PAs) with it despite it not having final blow? It's around 700+ more R-ATK compared to a (+10) Nasuyoteri

Just wait a bit. If the AC doesn't show up within the day, you can contact Google and they can get you a refund.

I was considering in using it but I can't seem to understand the Potential it has... Google Translate doesn't help much at certain points.

Yes, by a large margin, this is what i used to do when the 1st EQs came out, i would always use a booster and the badges drop rate increased big time, to the point i would get a gold on almost every single mini boss. and a crap ton of silvers, on top of that, the junk 10-11 stars you get to counter the cost of the 250% boosters to get them right back to continue, it's a win win move.

Anyway, the best weapons before 13★ are probaly 7★ Red Rifle 赤のライフル and 7★ Yasminkov 3000R ヤスミノコフ３０００Ｒ, both boost damage by 16% at Lv3 pot(Yasminkov only at close range).
You need to extend both to Ex13.

Edit: photon boosters are needed for Red Rifle pot, they come from Challenge Mile Shop, can get some from title rewards and matter board. Or you can buy it with unlocked pot from shop.

Sarce Punisher's 2nd potential is good, I guess (depends on your timezone I guess). It boosts damage during certain times of the day (in JST). Taken from pso2.swiki (http://pso2.swiki.jp/index.php?%E3%82%B5%E3%83%AB%E3%82%B9%E3%83%91%E3% 83%8B%E3%83%83%E3%82%B7%E3%83%A3%E3%83%BC), it boosts damage by 27% from 9am to 3pm, then 9pm to 3am - in JST. That 27% is a pretty hefty value too... But eh, if its convenient for you time-wise then more power to ya. :D

You could also use Dao's Symbol Art Manager, easier to sort the cache folder or find the SA you want to save.

Can you delete the user.pso2 file? If you keep running into permissions errors, have you tried booting in Safe Mode?

"Level-up Quest", seriously VHAQ at +50 risks is way better ,and no one cares about badges/slaves.I totally still care about the badges, they're still the best way to get Cali's until SEGA stop putting PD on at staggeringly, blisteringly dumb times.

Best way to get the badges out of it at the moment is SH unfortunately, people still run it there but it's better than nothing. Bit disappointed/annoyed in getting an XH run, the odd MPAs are still running at particular times but everyone abandons ship at the first sign of even ordinary EQs. Looks like that's just the way it's gonna be unfortunately.

depends on the weapon but austere is very nice its potential is always active and ares has downtime before full power ares 6-10%. at min pb austere will be 10% stronger likewise at full pb austere is still 6% stronger.

on different weapons like talis and rod they are fully functional rainbow weps on their own as a light wep and light is the best element for them so by that alone completely worth upgrading from ares (on ele ares will beat off ele austere keep that in mind for fo main but it wont beat them by much... side note austere talis 60 light does a little more damage than ares rod 60 fire)

crafted divine launcher is godly as well and no ra should be without it. tornado dance craft for fi makes the uncharged version faster and can also do the charge version as well good at building gear and activating the tornados with the ring

When I launch PSO2, it constantly gives me the following error several times until the actual client launches:

When I launch PSO2, it constantly gives me the following error several times until the actual client launches:

The procedure entry point DirectDrawCreate could not be located in the dynamic link library DDRAW.dll

These error messages do not stop me from launching the game but it is an annoyance as I have to see these error messages several times before the actual game loads.

This i know of, but i kinda have a problem with my gamepad, the thumbsticks are kinda broken and they're pretty sensitive and they move on their own occasionally. I'm asking about using x360ce because i wanna set the deadzone of my gamepads which aren't configurable in game.

there shouldn't be a problem, just drop the preconfigured ini and dll and it should work, if you are worried about stuff injecting, people inject worse stuff and get no bans or anything, at worst you will see an gameguard error

PS4 controllers work just fine on PSO2 for PC without additional software, but setup is a bit weird in game due to the difference between how 360 controllers and PS4 controllers differ in how they represent the pressure sensitivity of the triggers/L2R2 (though for what it's worth, that same difference also allows both L2 and R2 to be pressed at the same time, something you can't do on a 360 controller).

To set it up, when going through the controller setup menu in game, hold L2 and R2 halfway down during the entire section where it's sensing what axis the joysticks are on. This only needs to be done for that section, and you only need to go through that section once, after that, it should work forever.

Delete the tweaker registry location, HKCU/Software/AIDA.

This will reset the tweaker (if you use it) and maybe fix your issues.

They have a different cumulative EXP amount. To reach lv 70 in PSO2es, you need 14,811,808 EXP, while in PSO2 you need 29,942,500 EXP to reach lv70.

There are actually Goldrahdas in the current level-up quest.

Assuming you can manage to trigger a PSE burst near one of the spots on the map that spawn them, you can get a decent number of kills towards the competition.

1~3 are free and will always be, since EP4.

Paying AC to make 4th character doesn't "unlock" it's slot for further use, it just let you to make a character, if you delete it you have to pay it again.
Think about "paying your way to have 4th character".

Nah... it still keeps giving the ddraw.dll error when I start the game.

Well technically it worked the first time but then after. It starts up again.

For new characters, you must unlock and clear Tokyo Exploration (going through Storyboard and completing Ep4 Ch1).

You need to complete Tokyo Exploration to make Dailies appear. You need complete EP4 Chapter 1 on the Story Board to unlock Tokyo ARKS Quests so you can unlock Tokyo.

Not really question and more of an observation,
as this question really pops up from time to time in-game, in various forums, and in other PSO2 discussion hubs (I even got to ask this very same question myself a few months back at the start of EP4) which goes to mean that unlocking daily orders now is not as intuitive as it was. I wonder if SEGA really expected people to like, walk through the entire first chapter of the story just to unlock Tokyo exploration and complete it just to unlock something that was basically already there before as you simply complete the second ARKS quest. (though I kind of understand why it was designed to 'force' players to play this part of EP4's content)

It's cross platform storage that can store items (no chips), into the storage and use the storage in PSO2.
