Idk what's going on, but ever since yesterday after Microderp forced an update on my PC (in the middle of gameplay no less) I've been having connection trouble with PSO2. It's to the point where it's now unplayable, cant even get passed character selection (if it decides to load). I have tried messing with drivers and resetting my IP address. Restarting my router, and even going as far as contacting my ISP. Still no improvement and I'm on the verge of tearing out my hair. Help!

PS: And I have repaired my install twice already.

IIRC you need to unlock forest exploration which should allow you to begin the EP4 storyboard. Run through that until you unlock the Tokyo ARKS quests. You get dailies after completing the free field exploration.

i think you could load a character, and then load the model you want to copy from the face and on bottom undo select all but face related stuff, never tried but it might work out for you but if you are asking from a screenshot then no idea honestly

Character creation or saloon?

In CC, I think that, if you move foward to the naming section before creating the character, it saves temporarly your settings. From there, you can go back, load the character with the face you want, and select only the settings you wish to keep.

In the saloon, just do the last part from what I said above.

I'm not sure if we actually know what Florenberk, Nanaki, or Wolfram do specifically. The artbook I happen to be sitting in front of certainly doesn't.

For the ones we do know, Labrys's damage potential is monumental, but its damage is reflected back onto both the user and the weapon. Clarissa purifies corrupted Photons, and Linolut has Sword/Partizan powers, although I'm not sure if that's actually its true ability or if it's simply a feature.

Also probably a better idea to ask the story thread, since that can have a complicated answer depending on who you ask.

According to http://4rt.info/psod/ you need 1800(without weapon damage) or less S-Atk to be on pair or be better then Red.

I would just buy a Red from shop and extend it to Ex13, if you are on ship2 and have luck there are 2 +10 Red WL's(with pot1) in shop for ~850k and 1m. Extending cost around ~2m. Zieg have some one time CO's that give good meseta if you haven't done them

Why does PSO2 Tweaker spazz the hell out after every update for me and force me to scan and basically redownload the entire game it seems. 41,000 files. Beyond annoying. I can play for days, then a patch hits, I click yes to update, hey redownload gigs upon gigs. I just..what. Please don't tell me this is how the game updates now.

^DO NOT use auto-update prompt or the New Method. When it does not work, it will do what u just described. Hell will break loose.

Go to Orb Menu > Check for PSO2 Update (Old Method), slower (default method, used by original launcher too) but safer method.

The tweaker seems to periodically freak out and struggle with recognizing the game files. This sometimes overlaps with a complete failure to properly download the new files on top of that, meaning you just won't be able to run the game at all through the tweaker.

The solution I've used in the past is to just run the official launcher once to get everything in order, then use the tweaker to put the english patch back on. I think there's other methods too, though I don't remember any off the top of my head.

Even though this has already been answered, for future reference you can always just use Google translate's handwriting feature. It's especially useful in this case, where the name is just really simple katakana.

I'm close to getting enough stones to get an Orbit Sword so first : It is totally going to outdamage my Lightning Espada right ? Also which potential is better ? Urgent Maneuver 1 or 2 ?

Should I go for a Rear+Arm Set bonus + Orbit Sword + Leg Unit Set Bonus or should I Keep my Saiki set ? (only affixed at +95 s-atk for the moment)

Which left ring would be better ? Just Guard Sonic Arrow or the Hunter Gear save thing ?
And for the right one ? Killing Bonus ? PK ? Attack Advance ?

You can get Ares stones from UQs. Go to an ultimate quest block and join in a MPA. If you can get in a full MPA every time, farming 20 stones should take about 2 hours. I suggest doing Lilipa UQ since it's usually faster but you should just join in a MPA/UQ that has more people. If you aren't in a hurry with those stones, you can also do seasonal EQs since Dio Hunar spawns there and will drop ares stones. You can also get ares stones by exchanging 2016 gold badges IIRC.

It's more or less what Anduril said, but Xion is the planet the photoners discovered, who became self aware and took on the look of a photoner. Thus becoming a natural world computer.


And if you want some EP3 spoilers that relate to this The photoners tried to replicate xion by creating an artificial world computer, however it absorbed negative photons from the negative emotions the photoners possessed and became the [Profound Darkness]. It then went on and used Pure Desires as a basis for the Dark Falzes.

There is no difference, until you make a difference. Imagine that you have two appartaments, that parallely coexist. Once premium is done both are safely locked in the hammerspace, until you activate MyRoom again. all your goods gonna stay intact.

Besides two appartements there is a mini-room as a third option. W/o MyRoom active miniroom is the only option you can usel. It exists separately too. Just dont worry about your stuff getting lost. It can be locked in limbo w/o MyRoom, but that's all. You can always buy myroom pass for Excubes, btw.

Pwand with cmode potential or evil rod if you don't mind the hp drain. At worst Gravillos. Frankly its less hassle to hunt angas for an ares rod(if your on ship2 then good luck finding a steady stream of ultimate) than it is to collect all the stones for a pwand(Friends needed for AQ spam)/evil rod(Magatsu stones needed).

Here's a noob question coming from a Launch Day player.
How the heck do we charge our Photon Blasts? I never thought about it until now, but sometimes I get it charged in a few minutes and other times I can go an entire EQ without it fully charging. Heck, in that last Elder EQ my PB didn't even get 1 bar-thingy on it.
And it's not a particularly long charge PB. It's the Mega-Zondeel one.

It got me thinking, if I can generate like 3 Compound Techs and yet not get a single stage of charge on my PB, what actually charges Photon Blasts?
Melee Attacks? Getting hit? I'm seeing people pop like 2 PBs in some fights to my half a charged PB, am I doing something wrong to charge it?

Huh... Well thats a bit awkward then. I can barely take a hit from a Falz unless I have Deband up and even then its a bit iffy. So how would I go about generating a PB Reliably in a major boss EQ?

My team has merged 4 smaller teams so far, the team that stays overrides everyone elses.

If you're worried about doing it wrong, put something in team storage. You aren't allowed to merge into another team as long as items exist in team storage.

yes, its not mistaken.

its the same "innocent Appearance:" potential that elysion wand and boot of seraph have.
boosting uncharged technique damage by 70%

because it was in the rod form, it got further boost from FO weapon boost title (10%) for a total 80% boost.

Yes, but it must be a makeover pass bought from the AC Shop, not the free ones that come as prizes. Also, it only applies to the character that used it (ie. it doesn't allow you to make AC changes on more than one character in that hour).

The damage is always active when you have it as your main weapon.
But the HP recovery only work if you keep using it for 40s (meaning you can't change your weapon or the counter will go back to 0).

Saiki set can be obtained from Bonus Quest.
13*s can be obtained from farming stones. Ex: Ares stones from Anga in UQ for Ares 13*s.

VHAQ your way to level 70+, XHEQ also net very good EXP but make sure you're not being deadweight so you don't get yelled at.

Some *11~ *12 are still pretty good, in fact some may rival low-tier *13.
Bunch of *13 can be obtained from collecting stones, those stones mainly come from defeating certain enemy, clearing map-specific e-trial or clearing certain quest.

For unit, some *10 are still "good".
There's free *11 units from NPC Zieg, i think it's pretty good but bunch of people will say otherwise, well it's free though so don't expect much.
Bonus quest able to give you *11 units, saiki are among of them. Save up gold ticket and do bunch of bonus quest, bonus quest also net you some stones that you can trade for *12 and *13 weapons too.

AQ:
- 100% EXP boost all the time
- Easy PSE trigger
- Enemies are cakewalk EXP pinatta, even on risk 50
- Almost free to enter and play
- Choose map/enemy type to your liking
- Single party so you don't have to worry that no one are playing the quest

LvQ:
- Only 50% EXP boost
- Lower difficulty has somewhat low EXP
- Harder PSE trigger
- If the current level up quest suck, you have no choice
- Have to be on 6+ players map to be effective

it's still advised to get some party member to run AQ so while PSE you get more enemy spawn.

I don't know if there is a reverse side, but the client order for hans appears on the 1st side D5 I believe.

Physical lets you use your normal PSN.

Only time you need a JP PSN is for digital.

It require you, or other people to replace the BGM file with the empty track or replacing it with another one.
It will require proper tools and enough knowledge. Sound simple but usually a troublesome thing to do.
Just slide BGM volume down to 0 and fire up your own music player.

Just raise whatever attack stat you're using on your units.

Pets default to using T-ATK for damage calculations, but can use R-ATK or S-ATK with the appropriate switch skills.

As far as the timeline is concerned, there is no calendar for the pre-ARKS era. I'll give it a looksee when I get the EP3 Materials Collection this weekend, but I'm pretty sure they won't do it anyway.

Personally, I would say to hit the dodge button about... a second and a half after swords lock into place? That's an educated guess based on my experiences. If you don't have Mirage Escape or S-Roll access, then the timing could be a lot tighter.

Iron Will is RNG based though. If you want it, just put 2/10 into IW and then 1/5 into NGU. Then the rest can be poured into either Flash Guard or some HP Up, since you mentioned about your HP pool are on low side (800 is pretty high though imo)

Yeah, the window is so minuscule at Level 1 that it's essentially non-existent. It needs levels before it works.

It's most important for force with Elemental Conversion, but for most other classes it also adds a decent chunk of damage, particularly on weak points.

As for the second question, Ideal is probably better only because general usage for that would probably be mainly bosses anyways. Invade is lackluster and so I wouldn't really recommend putting the time and money into it.

1) If you aren't going with a build that has multipliers for matching element (ie. Force, Elemental Stance Bouncer, Melee Wand Techer), then just maxing it should be fine (consensus tends to be that light is good since there are so many Darker enemies, and matching element gives a ~120%-130% multiplier).
2) Invade has high variance, and its pot just raises the critical rate (ie. reduces that variance), so I wouldn't say it's that great, and would be a waste of meseta to unlock. Ideal's pot is for Bosses, so it's pretty good for most EQs since they are filled with bosses.

^No you can't make another chara for free.

What is counted as free chara slot is the 1st three chara, so if there's more than 3 chara already, the 4th chara onward is considered one time ticket usage, not slot.

^Weird wording lol. When EP4 hits, for those that already have 3 or more characters, SEGA gave them 1x Character Creation Ticket instead. And this ticket is one time usage ofc.

The only way you can remake chara for free is when you have 3 chara only and you delete one, then that slot is considered as 'free slot'. (Other two is free too)

To make it easier, SEGA don't assign any "slot number" to any of your character. They only count how many character you have.

If you, for exampe: have 5 character.
Then you want to delete the very first character you create back in the day and want to recreate it, you have to pay for it since SEGA will only know if you want to create 5th character on your ID.

When paying for additional character creation, you don't pay to unlock character slot, so it's stay 3 for free -- if you want to keep more than it you have to pay everytime you create additional character.

Reworded my answer. The [PD] EQ gives them, but the number you can get is capped by difficulty. For SH and XH, you can get 2 to 6 Caligulas.
