Both? They're completely separate factors. Although if you're talking about in terms of DEF, an EX8 will definitely outclass base +10 Saiki. Or if you're asking about "Craft or don't Craft", it really depends on whether you want your Saiki to be all around units or PP Units (you can craft for HP, but you wouldn't be using Saiki for HP craft unless you're trying to do HP/PP blend set).

As far as I can tell, people get Saiki to get more PP, because more PP is better. You lose resists if you craft them, but PP Craft Saiki set gives you +55 PP before Affixes (+25 from Set Bonus, +10 per PP Crafted Unit).

It's just RNG. +30% is the best possible boost, so if you're not getting it, it's just luck screwing with you.

Forest is large-type, it's ruin amethyst that is medium. try a large-size food, should be helping a bit.

Try PSO2es too, I find it has pretty good chance to get the rare of specifc region too.

If you can afford it it would be to buy 6s units and upslotting them till you get 7s with 40% affixing boost which cost about 100 excubes. also its best to do it on boost Week and yes it will still cost alot of mesta and excubes. I would say in the range of 10mil-20mil.

Plenty of ways to go about it : generally tornado dance/surprise dunk right in the middle of the horde followed by Chaos Riser if your gear is filled up. If not, you can add rumbling moon or crafted deadly circle to build said gear. After Chaos riser (everything should be dead unless it's lv 80 mobs or UQ) it's very easy to use any PA to instantly refill gear into Chaos riser until death

Deadly circle crafted has 360° parry frames, and acro effect can parry attacks from front : Acro > Dunk > Riser is a good way to go from defense to offense.

All titles are shared between your characters, so the class bonus applies to all of your characters.

Collect File is a solid method. Set three Ray files of any kind and just do a bunch of XH Profound Darkness until you get the 12*.

At least RQ isn't on a schedule. If you play during League hours, you can get a lot of fast rounds if you're in a good block.

Use ARKS Visiphone (http://pso2.arks-visiphone.com/wiki/Main_Page) or swiki (http://pso2.swiki.jp/) (Japanese) for up-to-date weapon search. As for how to play BO, better bring it to the dedicated thread (http://www.pso-world.com/forums/showthread.php?221079-Bouncer-Class-Discussion), but I can tell you to level HU and replace BR fast and try joining Magatsu with 250% RDR and Vraolet for more Fubuki Reisens to max element you current weapon.

Follow Selphea's guide (http://www.fulldive.nu/2014/12/17/dual-blade-bouncer-gear-affixes/). Note that the guide mentions using Revolucio collection file to obtain Nox Dinas, but that file is expired and gone now. Otherwise the guide should still be on point.

Also don't mess with old-style weapons like Fubuki Reisen, stick with NT weapons unless you are going after Niren Orochi, Austere or Orbit.

I would say dewman is most likely our last. There really is no point in creating another race as the stat changes would only be minor. Cosmetics would be only facial related, to avoid having to create exclusive outfits for one race, like with CASTs.

If we do end up getting another race I imagine it will be SEGA's attempt at breathing life back into the game sorta like increasing max level, only if necessary.

To add, Dewman was in the game files way before they were officially announced and released, I doubt they'd add another playable race and not have people catch that in data mining.

Plus the only other race that exists in the online Phantasy Star games is Beast, and I doubt they'd want to give race specific abilities like the Nanoblast from PSU, thus making Beasts useless.

Might just be you. I got a 13* Synchro in 50ish runs. I heard other people got four or five 13* drops just from spamming RQ.

as far as drops go, I've gotten 2 titan knuckles, 2 titan partisans, 2 stelc launchers, 1 titan DB, 1 stelc tmg, 3 13* synchros, 2 seiga launchers 1 military katana and who knows how many viola 13*s lol... all from just doing 1 set of sheets a week except this week I did 2 sets because of the boost.

the secret is getting a high score, if you can get around 2m you'll have a decent (not guaranteed of course) chance at getting a 13*

thing I noticed about getting good scores is the multiplier, its not really much of a rdr booster, it really boosts score so that kills and codes are worth more points, if you can get several blue field change over codes, you can reach insane scores due to rare mobs boosting the multiplier.

Well I'm going to say it is the luck of the draw. During the Arks League Riding Quest Highest Score run. I managed 2 13* in a row using only a 250 and my Lucky Rise II Umblla Rod. One was a Form Rod the other a Seiga Sword.

Which if going by total runs between all four of my characters it took me about 10 runs to get my first 13* from it.

I've gotten the 13*s about four-five times already. I play maybe three or so time a week since the Riding Quest was added, not sure how many runs that is.

You can obtain PA Fragments (S-ATK) by acquiring Lv. 11+ Photon Art discs for Sword, Wired Lance, Partizan, Knuckles, Double Saber, Twin Dagger, Gunslash, Katana, or Dual Blades and disassembling them through your Craft Console. They're also handed out as rewards for completing Daily Crafts once in a while. You can also buy them on Player Shops.

He/She unfriended you. Easiest way to tell is if they had a friend partner check to see if you can still use them.

In response to that if they weren't useful to you before they still aren't now. Monomates are good for one thing quick heal, not necessarily alot of HP recovered but enough to get by. Sorta like casting resta but not charging it good for a quick heal but not so much a full heal.

If the potential causes monomates to heal 39%, then you still do not want to use them. The problem with carrying monomates while using automate halfline is that, depending on the damage you take, the monomate heal could leave you below 50% health. Automate halfline only works when you cross from above 50% health to below 50% health, so if you are below 50% after a monomate heal, automate healing stops being "automatic", i.e. automate will no longer protect you until something else heals you above 50%. Even with monomate healing boosted to 39%, it is still possible to end up with less than 50% health, but the window for that happening will be smaller.

You really want your automate heals to be above 50% so that they will keep your health above 50%. Dimates always heal 60% (78% with the potential), so dimates always keep you above half when they heal.

Old type and NT weapons are grinded differently. Generally, NT are much easier to grind because grinding can never fail, and potentials are unlocked as you grind them.

Old types are RNG based when grinding, and you have to max it out and start from zero again each time you level up the potential. I'd stick to NT weapons unless you're after one of the better 13* old types.

They use different methods of improving them.

Old Type: Use Grinders to increase the Grind Level, up to +10. Grinding has a chance of success that decreases as the Grind Level rises. ATK increase per Grind Level is high for non-13* weapons. Once a weapon is at +10, you can expend Photon Spheres/Photon Boosters/Weaponoid Boosters to unlock its Potential, which resets the grind level.

New Type: Expend Grinders and Weapons to increase Grind Level. Weapons expended are destroyed. Cannot fail, but has a chance of Great Success that doubles the EXP added to the target. ATK increase per level is much lower than on Old Type (+1% per +1) . At every 10 Grind, expend Photon Spheres to unlock the Potential and enable grinding past that Grind value.

TL;DR: Old weapons rely on RNG, but don't need to spend weapons and their ATK scales higher. NT requires fodder to expend and growth has much lower scale, but requires no RNG, start with higher ungrinded ATK, and can be repurposed into fodder for better NT weapons.

Nah, fishing dishes are just type-dependent : fish, crustaceans, and other. I honestly don't know in which category small rodos and Nab turtle fall into, it's probably written in the description, I'll check later when I have time

I think you're describing the 3 button layout. It's an option that you can turn on and it allows you to great a second palette that you can switch to and have easy access to more PAs. It's incredibly useful on melee class and stuff like GU (it's pretty useful on all classes).

Treasure Shop is an extreme ripoff for the majority of their goods. It's not worth it, it only buys you a Lv. 1 Pot.

Also Challenge Quest grants Challenge Miles that you can trade for Boosters, which is actually how you were originally intended to get them. They're worth 3500 CM apiece, so to max a Hidden Potential, you would need 42000 CM, which is about three MISSION: STARTs if it's +50% Week for that Quest. Not beginner-friendly content though, so you may be better off with the Badges method.

I believe power notation is indeed down to 2500% for crafted, but, it'll have gear dependencies, maxed gear made it 2.5x power notation (consuming gear gauge though) ......

I don't main Te/Hu so I can't help you with that, but regardless, mine everywhere. The more achievements you get in mining, the better your chances of starting a fever or digging up rare materials, so even if you're not sure yet, keep mining in every area anyways.

Kill everything in sight no hesitation. There is no point in waiting for the other player to kill something. If they are that peeved about not getting to do anything they will leave of their own volition. Which is a bonus for you as no babysitting.

This is more of an opinion question than anything. Personally, I tend to ignore randoms regardless of how they play. If they play well, more power to them. If they play bad, I just play as if I'm soloing.

Depends. If I'm playing with a friend who's below my level, I'll take it easy because having someone just rush through everything isn't fun. But if they're looking to go through quickly to get EXP or something, go ahead, if anything that would be useful to them. If you can ask, you probably should, if not, I guess think about the situation and what that person is probably doing.

Unless I know them personally, I'd leave them in the dust. I've got very little sympathy for players who obviously power leveled up (from Level Up Quest or Limited Quest) to 70/30 or whatever in a week & now have absolutely no concept of how to play.

That upcoming "Entry Requirement" for Ultimate Amduscia? Yeah, we need that for more areas of the game than just Ultimate Quests.
Note that I'm not raggin on Newbies. We all start somewhere & have to learn as we go. I'm talking about straight noobs who have no business being in the endgame because they never learned how to Just Attack consistently, don't know that Damage+% perks are FAR more important than Attack+50 perks on the Skill Tree, can't block or dodge to save their ungrinded 110-defense unit wearing asses or think that they're doing TOP DEEPS with a 15%-ungrinded-unaffixed 13*.

Obliterate everything. They can aquire their skills at another time.

Generally mag is T-ATK. Hybrid S + T-ATK is optimal for affixes, but since TE/BR is very tech-focused when using bow, and gets the majority of its damage off wand explosion when smacking (they scale on T-ATK), full T-ATK works perfectly fine too

Unless it has changed from last I heard, don't know never bothered with GU. GU should never be subbed unless you are just leveling RA up.

Unless you have other 13* you are willing to use as fodder then you won't be saving much meseta. Since each grind with a 13* is about 96k per shot. Really all the methods you will find you have to compromise somewhere. Time, Money, or Grinders.

My method is the time consuming one but uses the least amount of Lambdas, only 5. I have yet to find other methods as most seem to follow a method similar to this.

There are a ton of them in the current Level-Up Quest. One of the more common codes spawns 4 of them.

What he's saying is if you have .15 seconds from the sub, and .13 seconds from the main, then you get .15 seconds. If you flip those two, you get .15 seconds. If you maxed one for .2 seconds and put one point in the other for .05 seconds, then you get .2 seconds. If you put any points into one of them and no points into the other, you get the full benefit of the one you put points into.

I would like to add:

Great Grind Success items can help skip steps (like the 3rd and 5th steps above), so grinding to +30 can actually take as few as 3 lambda grinders if you are lucky (and you would need to use a 12* at +30 in step 4 instead).
You should also account for the grind to +35. Since each extra 13* used for the grind is not enough exp for a level on it's own, you will want to try to fill the exp bar at +30 as much as possible with the last 12*.

Also to add. dewman doesn't have the same skin palette like human does.... it has more of a pale tent.also goong as far as gettinf bluish to redish brown skin tone. Something human cant acquire.

simply go fishing in the areas mentioned. Note that you need 15 or even 30 of them till you get achievement. so no secret here, fish, fish and fish in x region (if possible using the right food) until you get them

Coast Mussel is a shell so any recipe that improves shells will work.
Tokyo Lobster can be boosted with "sashimi of Tokyo maguro fish" (I think Maguro is red thuna)
Facility Anchovy is boosted with "sauté of cutlassfish" from Lillipa scrapyard
depending on what achievement you need exactly Las Vegas is either the same (sauté of cutlassfish) or it can be "grilled Ruins shrimps" or any recipe boosting middle size fishes.

Now for a question of my own, I have a 5 slots Dagger of Seraphy NT that dropped during an emergency code, I have a few fodders that I could use but what are the recommendations ? So far I'm thinking Act , Pow4, Spirita, Stigma and some status ailment. I don't really have the funds to slap Noble on top.
Or is there an easy way to get a good 6 slots without too much hassle from this? (I'm more familiar with 4s -> 5s)

I'd be delighted to! However these descriptions are untranslated...I wouldn't be asking otherwise... Lots of descriptions (if not all) are translated for gathering achievements, but those are easy to get even without descriptions... The same story is with the culinary shop - some items are translated, but most are not :(

What level is your mining? If you're still pretty low, I recommend getting achievements from other fields, then going back to Tokyo/Las Vegas for Earth Rocks. Every time you level up it boosts your chances of starting a fever or finding rare materials.

I mine whenever I can just to kill time, and I'll usually pick up Earth Rocks every time I try one of the Earth fields, I'm around Level 15 mining I believe.

Okay. I'll give you explicit directions on what to do in order to increase your odds of mining Earth Rocks.

1) First, make the recipe "東京マダイの照り焼き" (Tokyo Teriyaki Madai) at Franka's Cafe with the igredients: 東京マダイ (Tokyo Madai: 1 of this stuff) and 東京大豆 (Tokyo Soybeans: 10 of this stuff). You can simply buy the ingredients from Player Shop. It'll raise your chances of getting ores (which Earth Rocks are) by 50%.

2) Go to either Tokyo Free Field or Las Vegas Free Field.

3) Locate a Fishing/Mining Areas and clear out the baddies around it.

4) Proceed to Fish, and use All of your fishing stamina in order to up your chances of getting a Fever.

5) Once all of your fishing stamina has been depleted, go to a mining site, eat the recipe you made (東京マダイの照り焼き) and start mining. Hopefully, you'll get a Fever (which is what you want), if not, you'll have to got to another mining site(s) and dig there.

Doing these steps should up your chances of getting Earth Rocks.

I'm working on getting a 13* weapon for a few classes but until I'm able to get one from other methods are the ones available from the 2016 badges sufficient until I'm able to get something better? I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to what the better end game weapons are and what the best potentials are. Also If there Is something better out there that would be somewhat simple/fast to obtain I'd appreciate any Information on how to get them. For now I'm working towards a bow for a pure bow build, a katana and a talis.

Sorry, I just checked for the Madai on the player shop. Apparently you can't buy it, probably due to the rarity, so if you don't have it on your person (from fishing at Tokyo Free Field), instead of making, "Tokyo Teriyaki Madai", I want you to make:

遺跡エビのかき揚げ (Ruin's Shrimp and Vegetable Fritters)

The ingredients are:

遺跡エビ (Ruin's Shrimp: 10 of these)

and

遺跡麦 (Ruin's wheat/barley/oats: 5 of these)

Now these two items you can buy from the Player's Shop for sure, and they'll boost your acquisition rate of mining medium size ores (which Earth Rocks are) by 30%, a little less from the previous recipe I gave you, but it'll still help regardless.

You still mine for Earth Rocks at Tokyo Free Field.

- To be clear appearance tickets are character specific. Things like hairstyles, accessories, body paint, base wear, underwear, are all character specific, and do not carry over to other characters. You'd need a ticket for each character you want one of these on.
- Lobby actions are account wide (at least on each ship, I don't know if they carry over onto other ships). Things like photon chairs, and other actions like dances or poses, carry over to other characters. You only need to use one of these tickets, ever.
- Certain items lock to you, such as when you craft an item or do anything with a 13*. These items can be transferred to other characters through your storage without any issue, and those characters can use these items with no drawbacks.
- Mags are completely separate for each character, and cannot be transferred in any way.
- Achievement rewards are account wide, to which the only ones I can think that this even applies to are the max class level rewards. If you hit Level 75 on Hunter for one character, collected the achievement reward, and switched to another character with a level 1 Hunter, that character would still have the max class bonus for Hunter, and so on.
- Fun Points and Casino points are account wide. Meseta is not but can be transferred through storage.
- System tickets such as My Shop 3 Days and My Room 3 Days take effect no matter what character you're on.
- Registered music discs are specific to your room/team room, so it doesn't matter what character you're on.

The only thing I'm unclear about are voice tickets, but I assume that they're character specific in the same way that appearance tickets are.

The CD is tied to your account. But on the upside if you have multiple characters they can still do the CO and have it ready to turn in for when the CD ends.

- MAC address was reset after switching network connections
- PSO2 requested a code from an error 650
- closed PSO2
- "plugged" back my former MAC address (before it was changed)
- attempted to relog
- PSO2 did not ask me for the code that Sega already sent in my email address (for the error 650) and just logged me straight in the game

I just got a good 13* Rod (and if I can believe Arks visiphone, it's potential is pretty good as well) for my force but the dex requirement is way tooooooo high. My mag is already at level 200 with 199T-ATK and an accidental point in Dex lol. I'm level 75 and my Te sub is on level 56. Will I get enough DEX from my te when it's max level? Afaik I can't ease the equip requirement via crafting.

Also can I do anything special with 12/13* weapons that are of no use to me? I got a good pair of those now but like I said, I can't do anything with it.

My mag is already at level 200 with 199T-ATK and an accidental point in Dex lol. I'm level 75 and my Te sub is on level 56. Will I get enough DEX from my te when it's max level? Afaik I can't ease the equip requirement via crafting.

Also can I do anything special with 12/13* weapons that are of no use to me? I got a good pair of those now but like I said, I can't do anything with it.

All weapons that require DEX in order to use you will reach naturally. At 75/75 TE/RA I have a DEX of 532 which is more than enough to wield any DEX requirement weapon. Once you reach about . . . wait the highest any Rod weapon requires of DEX is アルミスイスト at 475. The lowest your DEX should be at right now is 497. So how can you not wield it already?

Not sure what rod you're talking about but from what I'm seeing in swiki, all the 13* rods with dex are all pretty bad / have better alternatives. To answer your question though, yes you can easily hit past 475 dex

NT 12*, use them as fodder for your 13*s; As for other 13*s well up to you if you want to use them as element fodder / grind fodder

That is the exact weapon I am talking about. The game says I'm at 439 Dex. With my units equipped I am at about 514 Dex. I'm not sure if I'm missing something...?

Yea I heard the Rod isn't good but it's definitely stronger than my current weapon.
Suspiciously enough, Arks Visiphone listed the potential of the rod in Kanji while everything else is listed in english. Hovering above the potential it said, HP recovery, Crit and damage up on long range attacks. But I figure it's probably wrong or I misread haha. It's just a stepping stone though until I find something better. (Preferably Austere but lol, that's a far away dream)
