Desynthesis some of 7~9* for Zieg's COs, sell the rest. Crafted weapons fall pretty low compared to 13* right now.
For 10* and up, excube them. Or you can use 10* NT +3 and up as exp fodders for other NT weapons.

I usually sell 9* weapons in my shop for 4k each, some of them are worth more.

It's definitely not 100%, it's closer to 90%~99%, but you can still get a tekked items (although rare in terms of it happening) especially during nekky's eq.

From all other sources, rare weapons and eggs drop untekked 100% of the time with the Fortunate Omen charm active. I am reporting this from my experience. It is definitely NOT 99% (or below). 99% would mean 1 out of 100 rares drop tekked with the charm active, and I have definitely not seen that. You can get 50-100 rares during an EQ block (especially for Magatsu), enough to keep track of a ratio of 1:100 for any tekked rares.

You get all eight when you 100% all three episodes 1-2-3. They come from titles at one Creator's Emblem per title. One for completing each episode, one for completing all three episodes, one for 100% each episode, one for 100% all three episodes, total to 8, titles and Emblems.

I can understand calling a ratio for tekked versus untekked drops if you don't break it down by source, but that ratio will vary wildly based on what content you choose to do (e.g. the ratio will be a lot lower if you do a lot of TD but not not much else). I am used to thinking it as 100% reliable, because from certain sources (like bosses and mobs) it is 100% reliable.

(Assuming you have the Story patch installed) The best thing to do is to run a file check, then reapply any English patches you had. If the crash happens again, try with just the basic English patch. If that works, it is possible that the Story patch is causing the crash.

You can do them with only a few members (note: organized and capable members), since the VR depletion is adjusted to the number of players in the quest. Learn the Challenge Quests and the required roles that players need to take, get a few decent players, try to clear it.

But it seems I'm not getting the files for Ein Device/Old Device filled, as it requires Zeta Guranz LV80+ and All Enemies LV 80+. I was hoping to at least get it finished in Necky's EQ, as its been easy enough filling out my Orbit-NT files. Worst case scenario, can I finish the collection file using pyroxene trade items with Rust Device?

Hm, I don't think that's entirely accurate, as I was able to finish my Ray sheet with Profound Darkness after it expired. And I got one of the required items for Bloodspear Vlad Bram with this Necky EQ.

Edit: It seems I may have answered my own questions now. The requirement for Old Device is being fulfilled, with Zeta Guranz. I forgotten how slow the fill rate for it is, that it was barely noticable. As for Ein Device itself, I now see it requires the Trick or Treat 2016 EQ to finish the All Enemies LV 80+ requirement. Guess that makes me SOL, unless EQ triggers will be able to be cycled through holiday stuff.

You check if it's read-only or not by inspecting file "Property" dood.
Deleting it and let launcher generate new one is the easiest way to fix these kind of problem.

I'm no crafting expert, so there's probably a really efficient way to level crafting that I don't know about, but I just did daily crafts every day and Zieg's weekly orders and I unlock all non AC crafting lines within a month or so, and I had never done crafting before. I guess you could also just extend some items a few times a day and it'll go faster. Definitely do Mining Base Defense EQs and Daily crafts for free Liliparium too, just by doing that I've build up a stock that's more than enough for when i need them.

You won't be able to complete the collection file by purchasing or trading in pyroxene for the item you need, but finding the weapon as an enemy drop will count.


Once a collection sheet expires, you won't be able to gain points for it, even if you have the sheet on you.

The expiration date for collection files is only for starting them. You can still complete and turn in expired collection files as long as you can find the enemies at the required levels/items.

All three drop from UQ Amduscia, none of the other UQs drop the evolved eggs. Collection Sheets are at Pudding, they're the very bottom the Amduscia Sheets list.

All three drop from UQ Amduscia, none of the other UQs drop the evolved eggs. Collection Sheets are at Pudding, they're the very bottom the Amduscia Sheets list.

I would like to add: only 10-13* eggs drop in UQ Amduscia, 7-9* eggs do not drop there.

Also, for clarity, you can get the eggs from collection files, but the collection files require running UQ Amduscia. So, one way or another, you must go to UQ Amduscia to get these eggs.

What do you mean? Like a character name in Japanese? You could look up names online I guess, or use a foreign name written in Katakana, if that's what you're asking.

Try translating one or two nouns that has connection with you to Chinese (aka kanji) then search Google for "Japanese name from kanji" or such.

I don't believe you can, though you can get the effect by changing to a camo for a weapon type you don't have (eg. use a sword camo when you want to unequip a rifle camo). The only downside is that this takes an inventory slot to do.

Each class has its own level and skill points, so when you switch to Braver, it will be lv1with one available skill point while Bouncer will stay at level 12 and retain its skill points. The game encourages you to level all classes to lv75 with some permanent stat bonuses.

None in particular, most games don't stay within one music genre unless it's part of the aesthetic and theme of the game (Guilty Gear's rock references come to mind).

PSO2's main composer is Hideaki Kobayashi I believe, who also did music for most Phantasy Star titles from PSO onwards, I can tell you that. Of course, he doesn't work alone, but it's a starting point, if you're looking for similar tunes.

For anyone that cares....affix via Special Factor are treated like any other affix and isn't limited to just one.

Also you can acquire the special factor affix for the weapon that gave it.

So for example Orbit's Factor = Auto PP Recovery 5% you can put that affix on said Orbit and make it more powerful!!!!

Nope, they're the same regardless of level, the only thing you get out of leveling those rings is adding +1 attack to the attack stat of your choice. I used TD Air chase all the time, there's no difference in chase distance between Level 1 and Level 20.

Rule of thumb, if a ring requires Lambda Grinders when you buy it, it has its full effect at lv1.

Try running without any English patch installed and see if you can get passed it. If it doesn't, try updating your graphics drivers. If it does, just try the basic English patch.

Like I said, try it with no English patch at all, even the base one. If it still gives you a black screen when the game is in a vanilla state, then try checking for an update to your graphics driver (or if you just updated your driver, try rolling back to the previous).

1) How much extra experience is gained in a great success for an NT weapon grind? If I grind 13 stars with +30 10 star fodders, are the 100% great success boosters worth the 250k?

2) Is it worth it to use rare drop +250% in bonus quests? I don't seem to detect that much of a difference in the drops after using tribooster 100% and rare drop 250%, no Saiki units in two Tokyo runs and only one Burisa in one Magatsu bonus quest run. It appears it always drops 3 random units, e.g. using rare drop booster will not increase the chance of getting more units or better units, is this true?

Nope, only items on hand and in character storage transfer with you, you'd have to get another character on Ship2 and transfer that character with those items in their inventory or character storage, sorry.

Scheduled EQs are the same, but they do have different random hourly EQs. This Twitter bot (https://twitter.com/pso2_emg_hour) shows all the random EQs every hour, ~55 minutes before they start.

Question regarding Anga, WB and Fighter stances.

If I understand it right Anga's weak point his head but only when you head shoot, but when you destroy the bits his ass will be the weak piont.
Why do Rangers WB Anga's ass when the bits are still there? Some WB the body but it's instantly overwritten by ass WB. They just make the run slower, Fighetrs with only Brave stance are screwed over. If i noticed it right Anga's core(when outside of his body) is considered front, so with Fi subclass i'll switch to Wise to benefit from WB and back to Brave when attacking the core outside the body. Now the real question is would it be better to only use Brave Stance, only use Wise Stance or stance dance?

Unfortunately, it's just a old habit most rangers have from old Anga, since it was the part that moved the least, where it's the part that moves around the most for new Anga. For new Anga, ideal wb part is the body (unless bits have been broken of course) since it's stationary even when Anga spins around, and allows FI to keep their stance, GU to chain trigger more reliably and so on. Not that important in the grand scheme of things still !

When does one scratch count as two and you get 2 items? No idea where that assumption came from, but the only occasion you may get more than 1 item in a single scratch anyway would be from a AC Scratch Gold where some items come in sets, and even then it also only counts as a single scratch.

So no, you need 15 regular AC scratches (Gold and Regular scratches have different scratch bonuses) to obtain it. So from 0 tickets, AC Scratch Tickets (12 pieces), 2200AC + 3 AC Scratch, 600AC will allow you to get it, for 2800AC.

Just to add, to get the LA, you have to buy about 1500 yen's worth of participating products at 7-11 (Japan only of course). I actually had a friend tweet about how the clerk at the store laughed at them when they walked up with 15 bowls of some sort of instant ramen or something.

The LA is really expensive on the Ship2 player markets, Not sure about other ships.

I would say you are better off going TE/FI. Not only does it have the best general tech support skills, but it also allows you to use the wand as a proper Melee weapon. TE and FI particularly synergize due to Chase and Wand Gear Element.

Not feasible. FO/FI leaves you with only a small number of accessible weapons that are good in the first place, especially for Double Saber and Wand. You are left with Skeer Blade for Double Saber, the best Fo equipable Double Saber that has both decent T-ATK and S-ATK, with a conditional potential that requires you to cast in the air to get the damage bonus. Decent, but not the too great once you get into harder difficulties. Gunslash has Queen Vera, that's acceptable, but also falls off for the same difficulty argument. Wand however, is straight out pointless, considering the fact that non-TE main/sub doesn't even allow access to Wand Gear and Wand Lovers, which are pretty much the unique traits of a Wand in the first place.

Going by your descriptions, TE/FI would be the obvious superior choice here.

As for an 11 PP affix, you can do:
X the Soul (Act/Till/Magi depending what Atk you want)
Attack III or IV
Flict
Doom Break
Noble Boost

Total of 11 PP and 130/135 Attack. You should be able to do it on your budget if you prepare the fodder yourself, but if you're after S-Atk and Flict Arma is a little too rich for your blood, you can swap it or the Doom Break out for Spirita or an appropriate Fever.

So I'm about to finish +35'ing all the Gix fighter weapons, and I was wondering, if I rarely use Knuckles, should I just go for using Orbit Knuckles for PP regen instead of Gix? I understand switching will reset the damage boost on the Gix weapons, but I use Crea Doubles and Austere Fencer, and Gix DS already has a higher damage output that Crea, and Gix TD being almost unnoticeable less than Austere for a few seconds, I feel like it really doesn't hurt at all.

Orbit Double Saber would probably be the best choice, but honestly, you can hardly go wrong with either Orbit or Gix anyway. It's just personal preference at that point. So yes, if you really want to, Orbit Knuckles works.

Can someone suggest me a decent and easy obtainable units for force? (level 50+). Right now I'm using Zieg's ones that you can trade for Master Craftsman Seal. They give decent pp and t-atk, but low hp and defense (I'm dying to one shot mostly, especially under pp convert). Is there a better options?

I'm aware you can just buy Lv20 rings from player shops now, but I've seen people with rings that aren't even a week old at Lv20 a few times now. I've had one of my Normal Attack Advance rings for a few weeks & its just barely hit Lv19 from moderate Ultimate Amduscia farming.

Doing EQ too? Especially TD3 which gave tons of exp ..... and, if they used Tri-Boost 100% too, the exp gain is really nice.
Also, AQ City maybe, since it's also done for EXP.

And if they happens to be lucky and got Tokyo-key Gold once a day or more, it can help too.

Edit : Ult Amdus only gave around 2% with 75% exp boost, each run for Lv19 -> Lv20 Ring.

Ralf> affixing defense is not really easy if you want straight up SDef. Only 3 souls give 30, then you need Body 3 or 4 for 30 or 35 more, and that's pretty much it in terms of things you can expect to get. Resistances are easier to add up, and having Blow Resist 4 with All resist 3 will give you a 9% cut (and it's cheap, all considered).

If you are only concerned about SDef then I guess Ex Soul/Body/Blow resist would yield best results. (snow soul and Rockbear souls also work but Snow soul doesn't boost Blow Resist so beware)

If you're concerned about defense in general Blow/Shot/Mind/All resist can be crafted for little meseta. Goron Soul boosts both Shot and Mind resist IIRC.

Pretty much what Kondibon said, steps have 0.1 second invul from the get go, so JB Escape lv 1 is only twice that duration and lv 5 3.5 times that. Don't forget that the skill kicks in RIGHT as you press the follow-up button. The animation of the follow-up is actually lagged on Strike Gust (I mean there is a very short moment where you float before falling down, and most of the invul is during that float). If you rely on animations to dodge, chances are that you'll take the blow. I find it more reliable to use follow-up sound cues to time the dodge on Strike Gust and Moment Gale

I wish we had a visual cue in PSO2 whenever we are in parry or invincible to help us time that kind of stuff, maybe someday.

Gix weapon will always reset its potential any time you switch weapons, regardless of potential levels, and even if you switch from one Gix to another. The only thing allowed is to switch from one palette to another with the same Gix weapon if I recall correctly

Gix starts out doing less damage than Austere, but at Potential level 3, it will surpass Austere, as it gets a 20% damage boost within 70 seconds. However, the damage boost resets to less than Austere's if you use any -mate items, like Monomate, Dimate, and Trimates.

Basically, Gix beats Austere if you avoid using Mates, which isn't too difficult. Keep in mind, Austere takes forever to get, you need 100 Caligula Fragments from Profound Darkness, 100 Nero fragments from the Dark Falz, 5 Heart stones, 5 Phantom Night stones, 5 Bloody Moon stones, 50 Yurlunger, 50 Garulu Crystals, 10 Photon Boosters, 300 Excubes, and the Invade Katana to get one Austere. With each Austere being 30 element, you would need two of them to maximize damage output.

Gix has it's collection files, so just run Ultimate Amduscia with some rare drop boosts, and you'll be able to get them in no time. You need 6 of the same weapon to max out it's grind to +35.

Personally, I say go for Gix, mostly because it's easier to get right now, you have until mid January 2017 or so to do the Gix Collection files, so you have time.

I do plan on using te/hu sword in SH more with friends, so its not like they'd be wasted upon getting everything to 75.

This was never the case, it was always a "change weapon, reset damage" scenario for the series, I'm honestly surprised I'm seeing this more of this lately.

Stick to Red, save your meseta since those swords aren't all that good. If you able to craft (and I mean like good crafting) an old Zanba to make it all class , go for that if you'd like

Boost week is not too far off either if you'd rather wait for the EXP boost then to start leveling quicker

dont get austere partizan.. the alternatives are titan if riding quest is still active and does basically the same damage or wait a bit longer and see if astra is the new uber (besides those shiny 14* stuff)

Problem is no one does Rideroid during boost times/League outside JP hours (on Ship 02 that is) so going for this is a bit more difficult since it's dead most of the time and the CS fills so slow as well plus the 15% dmg increase to you is not really helpful. Ship 02 still being the only ship I know that can't do Rideroid in the appropriate block so back to back quests are doable and having to wait 5-10mins isn't so frequent

I'd say go for Gix still, gonna be easy to get again thanks to boost week soon

Fuuga Naginata+10 has 928 S-Atk and boosts crit damage by 13%. Now if you craft it to max level (Ex.9) it will have 936 S-Atk.
If you have 100% crit build or you wan't to use it with Fighter main then maybe it's worth to craft it, otherwise only when you're a buddy from RNGeses, cuz double RNG.
